2 weeks in Prague✅ The message: - For the unbeliever: Jesus saves. We live in a world that is passing away. But eternal life (a present possession and a future hope) is promised in Christ. - For the believer: We are the salt of the Earth. We preserve. We slow the decay of a place by establishing the culture of God’s kingdom wherever we are. The Lord is doing something in this time. He’s drawing all men to Himself. He’s making His appeal through His children. So may our feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace and may we be ready to go wherever He will send. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• “How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”” by @vivianade_
It Could Only Be God ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• God’s grace spoke for me. He who began the good work in me saw it through to completion. He had set before me an open door which no one was able to shut. None of His words returned to Him void, but they accomplished His purpose and succeeded in the matter for which He sent it. I’m grateful. 📸 - @lanisperspective #TexasEx #Graduate by @vivianade_

It Could Only Be God •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for me, my very soul cries out hallelujah! Praise God for saving me. When recounting the four years I spent at UT, I am amazed by the handiwork of God. I left Austin with much more than a couple of degrees; I left with an understanding of who I am and, more importantly, whose I am. The Vivian who entered college was plagued by insecurity, fear, and genuine confusion — a girl who tried to avoid reality by any means necessary. Prior to college, I had a consistent prayer point: “God, use me.” A prayer point that wasn’t birthed from zeal but from a misconception that God was transactional. I believed that if I let Him use me, He’d be happy with me, pleased with me, and that He’d love me. Instead of allowing God to shape how I viewed the world, I allowed the world to shape how I viewed Him. It seemed like the more I prayed this, the more He answered (crazy how that works lol). People would share with me how they were blessed by a message I shared, and I would be left wondering why my own life wasn’t impacted. But God, in all His goodness, gave me new language, and my prayer became “God, I want to know You. Help me to know You.” He revealed Himself as my Father, my closest friend, and the lover of my soul. He didn’t just tell me but He showed me that everything I had been looking for was found in Him. He showed me that He was the remedy for insecurity, fear, and confusion. To whoever needs this: God desires to know you and for you to know Him. His love for you extends beyond what you can do for Him. Draw near to God, and He’ll draw near to you. He’ll actually surprise you. 📸 - @lanisperspective #TexasEx #UT2024 #MasteredIt by @vivianade_
