What are you doing this weekend? We are at @tidalgardens this weekend and within minutes of arrival, we were already geeking out on some of the cool equipment being used here. Stay tuned, more to share... by @vivid_creative_aquatics
All the sweet stuff... We're ready for @aquashella Chicago and we brought all your favorite VCA products: - NOSOK filter sock replacement kits - Patented Random Flow Generator(R) - Never-Rust Tweezers - and so much more... Stop by and say hello: booth 85 by @vivid_creative_aquatics
It's our first time... Hard to believe, but it's our first time visiting the Chicago area in person. We'll be at the 2026 @aquashella Aquarium Festival in Schaumburg, Illinois, this weekend September, 26 and 27th. Can't wait to see you there - we'll be at booth 85 by @vivid_creative_aquatics
It may have ran a little too long... But it still took less than a minute to pull, clean and reinstall the NOSOK in the big reef tank. We had this NOSOK setup with filter floss and screen but going forward,  we'll run it with just the 255-micron filter screen - until the next water change. That saves us both time AND cost. Its hard to beat the convenience of the NOSOK. by @vivid_creative_aquatics
Ready, set, GO! Are you ready for, @reefapalooza_california ? We are... We haven't missed a California @reefapalooza since our first showing, in 2017. Come see us at booth 614A and see the new NOSOK in action. by @vivid_creative_aquatics
Live aquarium filtration? Getting ready to travel to @reefapalooza California this weekend and look what I found inside this 2.75in NOSOK that we run in our 10-gallon Waterbox cube tank. It's an entire colony of filter feeding tube worms. Apparently they have been hard at work keeping this tank, looking great. And the cool thing is, with the NOSOK, we get to keep them both in place, but also contain them to a single location inside the tank. It is literally like a live particulate filter... We'll be at @reefapalooza_california This weekend at booth 614A. Stop by and get yourself a NOSOK, and STOP WASHING YOUR SOCKS! by @vivid_creative_aquatics
More versatility  - less sock washing... The NOSOK gives you options. In this video, we show you how to use Phosphate absorbing media to wrap the core of a 4in NOSOK. You can use all kinds of different filtration media, such as activated carbon infused spong, poly filters, course black sponge, fleece sheets or filter floss. The customization is nearly limitless. Available in 2.75, 4in and 7in sizes, the NOSOK is now available at ypur favorite online retailer and many local fish stores. by @vivid_creative_aquatics
The Drifter.... It might just be one of of the best, most simple ways to feed frozen foods to your tank. Or... its a genius way to entertain your snails. Either way - you need to get yourself the Drifter Frozen Fish food feeder by Joey at the @thecoralreeftalk . Now Available at @championlightingandsupply by @vivid_creative_aquatics
No wasted filter floss here... The NOSOK is the most effective way to run filter floss in your aquariums - nothing goes to waste. Plus, with the NOSOK, inexpensive floss performs like a more traditional filter sock.  Filter sock-like performance,  no filter socks to wash... by @vivid_creative_aquatics
Custom parts really fast? Yeah, we do that.... We have the production capacity and the know-how to make your custom parts. Simple single-piece parts to more complex assemblies. We can help keep your production processes moving. by @vivid_creative_aquatics
Upgrading the flow every way I can… a few modifications and I’ll have my return pump turn into a additional power head in the tank @vivid_creative_aquatics RFG nozzle #Nyos440spsBuild by @vivid_creative_aquatics
