It’s ok to love yourself, ⁣
⁣
It’s only natural for me as a mother to put my dreams and needs aside. Let alone know what they are 🤣. To play it safe and be there for the loved ones around me. Cheering, supporting, sacrificing and loving Keira is one of my life’s biggest joys. Finding balance and showing her how important it is that mommy can allow herself to do the same is a life lesson I’m only just touching the surface on. I believe it is vital for her to learn as well. ⁣
⁣
Learning who we are, who matters to us, and how to create a life we can’t help but love is a skill set. 2018 was a transformative year for me. I chose to let go of the idea of a future I had dedicated my life to create. I chose to pursue a new journey that I don’t have a clear vision of. Forgiving myself. Taking responsibility for the mistakes, misunderstandings and pain I’ve caused others along the way. Especially the ones I made to myself. Understanding that I genuinely and whole-heartedly did my best to show up. (Like we all do).⁣ Now for the first time have decided to direct that same love, understanding, compassion, sacrifice, dedication, patience, and trust within myself. Letting go of one piece of guilt and fear at a time.
⁣
I’m starting to feel like I’m living my life, not just going through the motion. No longer confined to the ideas of my limiting beliefs that I’ve picked up along the way. I’m humbled by the level of happiness, fulfillment, and bliss I feel these days. I wish that for all of you. You all share so much of yourselves with me. I want you to know I am grateful for that connection.
⁣
❤️Thank you for being apart of my journey❤️⁣

Happy Global Climbing Day!

To my one and only, you worked so hard to get here, you survived a season in your life that most people didn’t see, and now you’re off chasing dreams. Go do your thang, college girl. Proud doesn’t even cover it by @vns1015

Happy Father’s Day Joe. You didn’t have to be, but you chose to be a wonderful bonus dad to Keira. Gosh, I can’t thank you enough for all that you do and sacrifice for our family. You’ve given so much of yourself to us, day in and day out, without asking or expecting anything in return.

Thank you for being you. Thank you for loving us the way you do and always making sure the freezer’s stocked with ice cream 🍨. I really mean it when I say we are so lucky. I am so lucky. by @vns1015

🎓2025🎓 We couldn’t be more proud of you. Congratulations, my sweet girl! by @vns1015

We’re Hiring! ✨💅

In a time when so many manicurists are going solo, we’re doing things differently. Instead of just offering a chair, we’ve created a space where you can thrive, build your skills, and feel supported.
At Willow we really do believe that your life outside of the salon is important and that is reflected in how we operate. At the end of the day you deserve to have enough left for your family as you give to us.
If you’re looking for a team that actually feels like one, a steady income without the hustle of filling your own books, and a salon that invests in you, we’d love to meet you!

Please Dm or reach out to us at Willownailcare@gmail.com to start the conversation. by @vns1015

As much as I’ve tried to isolate myself from the world at this time in my life. Nothing like a birthday to remind me how lucky and loved I am. Thank you all so much for the warm birthday wishes.

This season has been the hardest. Trying to find a way forward after such deep pain has been both strange and brutal. Watching devastation unfold for the people I love most, in what felt like an endless 2 year span…. changed me. Seeing Keira go through chemo wrecked me. As moms, we give our lives, our bodies, our souls to our kids. We nurture them, sacrifice for them, and love them unconditionally. Yesterday reminded me how blessed I am to have people who lift me up when I need it most. I’m so grateful for each of you. Opening up and moving forward hasn’t been easy, but I’m learning it’s part of healing and growing.

Reflecting on how close we became during Keira’s treatment, I can say that the bond Joe, Keira, and I built laid the foundation for our family. That experience taught me the value of deep connections, and it’s why, for now, I keep my circle small. It’s what feels safest.

Here’s a fun family photo from the dog park yesterday, along with a few memories I’ll forever cherish. Losing Cass is still something I don’t want to begin to accept or talk about. Just know that I will love her and think of her forever and always. 🖤 by @vns1015

My comfort, safety, support, and joy. You elevate everything I do by 1,000%. Life isn’t always fair, but with you, I’ve learned that even when things fall apart, they can be rebuilt even stronger. by @vns1015

What a fun weekend in Madison watching Keira play her first Lacrosse game after undergoing AML treatment just six months ago. So proud of her determination and hard work to make this comeback possible. She’s physically and mentally stronger than ever. by @vns1015

We did it, @mullaneybrandon! We opened the doors to @willownailsalon. It has been an incredible experience, and I'm thrilled that we can share it together. I’ve enjoyed every minute of building our dream space together. Discussing every aspect of our business, learning, and growing together has been amazing. Just look at what we've created with everything we have been through! 🙌🏽 I feel incredibly grateful to have you as my best friend and business partner.

I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of my favorite photos and the amazing people from our opening day.

I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for making this experience so unbelievable. Your flood of messages, appointment bookings, kindness, patience, and support mean the world to us. This is truly a dream come true. Thank you all so much! by @vns1015
