Unity Consciousness. Re Wire. Re Unite. by @voinkaiser
Just over a week and a half ago, I had the privilege of attending the world premiere of Tina Arena'sĀ Unravel Me documentary at the Astor Theatre in Melbourne. I have loved Tina for as long as I can remember. There is something about that Sicilian passion, fearlessness, her take-no-prisoners stance and her willingness to speak openly about topics that most people wouldn't dare to touch, especially in an industry saturated with fakery. You simply can't fake what Tina puts out into the world. It's real, it's raw and it comes straight from the heart. Then there's that incredible voice, one that reaches right into the very depths of your soul. It's undeniable. I think that's why she has always stood out from the crowd. Unravel MeĀ chronicles and celebrates Tina'sĀ 50 (!!) years in music and beyond. Her story is one of bravery, resilience, triumphs, losses and a dedication to her craft that has touched the lives of millions. There are so many highlights, including magical restored footage of family gatherings and celebrations from the late '60s and '70s,Ā Young Talent TimeĀ rehearsals, her first single, albums, tours, accolades and her greatest achievements, including the birth of her son, Gabriel (who makes his screen debut here) as well as interviews with both of her beautiful sisters, Nancy and Silvana, and countless others. Unravel MeĀ also marks Johnny Young's last interview before his recent passing, Tina's greatest mentor. The documentary is incredible and one that you should all go and see.Ā It has us all laughing and crying and feeling all the feels. @jesscarrera you did a wonderful job putting it all together. Thankyou šŸŒ¹ So proud of you, @tinaarena , and all you've achieved thus far. "This life's extraordinary"...indeed it is just that my love. Thank you for your pure heart. It's an honour to get to know you and to celebrate the wonderful artist and selfless human being that you've always been.Ā  And now, it's your turn! In cinemas nationally from this Thursday, 27 August. I dare you not to be moved... ā¤ļø x by @voinkaiser
I feel so extraordinary by @voinkaiser
From as early as I can remember, Johnny Young was a part of my world, as he was for thousands, if not millions, of Australians. I vividly remember, as a child, being glued to the television set on a Saturday night, mesmerised by the Young Talent Team and wishing that, one day, I could somehow be part of it. Ahhh, the pure innocence of it allā€¦ that beautiful naivety. In later years, I even attended the Johnny Young Talent School, hoping to one day be plucked from obscurity and chosen to be part of the team. Those were indeed special times, and that talent school remains one of the most precious periods of my life. A time of pure joy, learning, and connection with other kids my age, in the era of analogue everything and real presence. I'll never forget the Young Talent School end-of-year concert at Dallas Brooks Hall, when Johnny presented me with my Certificate of Achievement. He looked me in the eye and told me I had a great smile and that I was destined for great things. For a young kid, that kind of encouragement from someone you looked up to meant the world. God bless you, John, and the incredible legacy you leave behind. You touched countless lives, inspired generations of young Australians, and helped nurture some of the most extraordinary talent, with the purest of hearts and intentions. You shall never be forgotten. Rest in Paradise beautiful soul. Goodnight Australia šŸ˜¢šŸ˜˜ā¤šŸŒ¹ by @voinkaiser

I am moved beyond words by the incredible magic that is True Faith, an interpretation of the majestic @neworderofficial track by @tinaarena. Iā€™ve known this was on its way since last year, so the anticipation has been building for such a long timeā€¦ but I never could have expected just how beautiful it would turn out to be.. and that video!!! Iā€™ve been praying for this route into musicality and experimentation for years, and to have one of my favourite New Order tracks brought to life in this way has been completely overwhelming, in the most beautiful of ways. Thankyou @francoistetaz @lukehowardmusic šŸ™ Thereā€™s nothing more exciting than seeing your favourite artist try new things, push boundaries and involve themselves so deeply in the artistic process. And Tina, warrior woman, Iā€™m so incredibly proud of you.. for everything youā€™ve achieved, and for this latest chapter, which I truly believe is your greatest and most exciting yet. Tonight I finally have the pleasure of seeing ā€œItā€™s Never Overā€, the Jeff Buckley documentary directed by Amy Berg. (With my beautiful friend @damensamuel ) Those who know me know how much Jeff meant to me, and still does. Itā€™s been almost 30 years since his passing, and his light and legacy show no sign of fading. In the lead-up to these screenings, I was interviewed by @cinemanova for their Letterbox series. Iā€™m expecting there wonā€™t be a dry eye in the house tonight. God bless you Jeff and Thankyou @amy_berg šŸ™šŸŒ¹ #jeffbuckleymusic #itsneveroverjeffbuckley by @voinkaiser
