Vermont Cheesemaker Festival Attendees: please note that Bay Road, one of the main routes into the Festival, is closed for construction. All traffic will need to use Harbor Road -- including the traffic light at Shelburne Village.

*We expect traffic to be heavy.* Please plan extra time entering and leaving the Festival, follow all Festival signage, and please be sure to observe Shelburne Farms 20 mph speed limits. (General Admission doors do not open until 11:30am; if you arrive prior to the doors opening, we thank you in advance for waiting patiently while our makers complete their preparations for you.)

Note that our Vermont Cheesemakers Festival is completely sold out this year, and there will be *no* tickets at the door. You must already have your tickets to attend.

If you have questions, please reach out to us directly at festival@vtcheese.com, as our small staff are not able to monitor social media comments in real time during Cheese Week. by @vtcheese

📍Saturday, September 19th from 5pm - 9pm; "The Big Cheese" film screening is taking place at Main Street Landing.

"Join us for the penultimate Vermont Cheese Week event, benefiting the Vermont Cheese Council. The night before the Vermont Cheesemaker's Festival we're gathering in Burlington to celebrate the people who make sure all of our beautiful cheese finds good homes." - The Cheesemongers!

The Big Cheese is an indie documentary that follows a scrappy team of competitive cheesemongers on the road to an international showdown held biannually in France, which crowns 'The Best Cheesemonger in the World'. Jasper Hill Farm is hosting an exclusive screening of the film, following a meet-the-cheesemaker mingle in Main Street Landing's Lake Lobby. A short panel discussion will follow with actual cheese celebrities--including Mr. Moo / Adam Moskowitz himself.

After the film, we'll adjourn to party down with some hot cheese plates (Raclette & Fondue). A grazing table of vegetables, pickles, salad greens, and Vermont charcuterie by our friends at 5th Quarter Butcher and Pitchfork Pickle will make for a meal-worthy spread.

But wait, there's more... Full price ticket holders go home with a goody bag full of cheese worth the ticket value so that you can relive the night of your dreams for weeks to come. All event profits will be contributed to The Vermont Cheese Council.

Support the makers, support the mongers, support independent film, support your need for delicious cheese! 🧀🧀🧀
