A few stills from MYAH, our submission to the Forest City 48 hour challenge!
This past weekend I took on the #FC48 film challenge alongside a great crew of people who trusted me to not only DOP our short, but direct it as well. Very proud of how we took on this challenge and excited to see every group’s submission screen later today at @hylandcinema !! Admission is free so come early to grab a spot and watch the crazy range of talent our London community has to offer.

Thank you @fcfilmfestival @ethanfhickey for continuing to put on this fun yet testing challenge!

Quick skill-check for today;
Decided to attempt to recreate the Black Mirror title sequence for class. Fully made on After Effects... every. single. shape. This was really challenging since I never use AE but for those of you who do and do it well... you are actual wizards.

to my cast, @will.oh.the.wisp , @evrmoraine and @natasmack , thank you for breathing life into these characters and helping me bring this story beyond the page. watching these characters become real has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience, and i’m so grateful i got to do it with you.

to everyone who came out to be a background actor, thank you for giving up your time to be part of this film. you helped bring these scenes to life, and i’m so grateful you showed up and became part of this little world we created.

a huge thank you to @wishbone_band for offering to be our band and putting on a little show for us. getting to bring local live music into this film and have you be part of the experience was so important to me. thank you for being so generous with your time and talent and for helping make the world of nightbreak feel that much more alive.

a very special thank you to @honeydipbar @flycatcherdiy @eph.em.eral_ for opening your doors to us and supporting me throughout this creative endeavour. having a space and a community that encourages you to create, take chances, and bring your ideas to life is something i will never take for granted.

Only 9 days left until THE CAGE premiers at @fcfilmfestival get your tickets ASAP on the forest city film festival website!

THE CAGE took around 9 months to film & was almost entirely made by first time filmmakers. It was a really eye opening experience as a film student at the time and I’m so happy I got to document a lot of the filming process along the way.

With the newest trailer just dropping last week it’s time to start sharing the moments behind the camera and the people that helped bring this project to life 💕📸 by @vvm.media

Had to pull over driving back from Strathroy last night, too pretty not to.

And that’s a wrap on my 2nd season with the @londonmajors!
I feel so fortunate that for 2 years I’ve gotten to work alongside such an amazing broadcast and media team. This year came with many new changes and challenges, from recording and editing fun little insert segments for the broadcast to camera operating and even being the Technical Director/Switcher a few times, it was a wild ride. Last year I was still finding my footing and days felt pretty long, happy to report that our 7-8hr days went by so quickly this year, sometimes a little too quick. I’ve learned so much working with The Majors and it’s been amazing watching our Broadcast improve with every game that goes by.

A big thank you to @kbem.mp4 for having introduced me to the team and @hiscoxphotography for taking a chance and bringing me on (and keeping me).

Another special thanks to @jay_zaifs, it’s been a pleasure sitting beside you up in the press box for yet another year and thanks for always laughing at my bits.

Lastly a huge thanks to everyone on the broadcast/media team, you’ve all felt like a second family this summer and I can’t wait to work with you all again next season 🤞⚾️ by @vvm.media

Nothing brings me more joy than getting to play with lights.
Another day on @bradley_pilon’s “9 Months with Rod” 🔦🪜
