Check out an app that allows you to create custom textures 3D from 2D images. Personally, I enjoy transforming AI-generated images into intricate hieroglyphics🈳 on 3D surfaces. The app I recommend is called Materialize.....

⭐Here’s how you can use Materialize to enhance your 3D art:

1️⃣Get the Tool: Download Materialize from Bounding Box Software. It’s open-source and perfect for creating PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials.

2️⃣Start with an Image: Import your chosen image into Materialize. This could be a photograph or a texture you’ve painted yourself.

3️⃣Create Your Maps: Generate the necessary texture maps from your image. Materialize can produce height, metallic, smoothness, and normal maps, which are crucial for PBR materials. *You will need to create the diffuse map first.

4️⃣Adjust to Perfection: Tweak the maps using Materialize’s intuitive interface. You can adjust the depth of the height map, the reflectivity of the metallic map, and more to get just the right look.

5️⃣Seamless Integration: Materialize allows you to seamlessly tile your textures, ensuring that your materials look great when applied to larger surfaces without obvious repeats.

6️⃣Export and Use: Export your maps and bring them into your favorite 3D software. Materialize’s textures are compatible with major 3D programs and engines, making it a versatile addition to your toolkit.
