~*Spooookyyy Halllooowwweeennnn ~* 👻🕷️🧙‍♀️🔮☠️🕸️🫟 Custom Home Builders, if you are going to DM this shit to your business partner saying "omg lol so us!", DM us too while you're at it. We can help! Let us! by @wagnerperspective
Your work is gorgeous. Your first line is why nobody’s seeing it. 😬 Most interior designers lead with the room. “Living room reveal.” “Kitchen in progress.” “New sofa arrived!” But here’s the thing: your dream client has already scrolled past 400 beautiful rooms today. The pretty photo is not the hook. The words on top of it are. Every hook in this post is doing one of 3 jobs: 🪞 MIRROR Describe a problem they’ve already had, in the words they’d use. “Every white paint turned this room yellow by 4pm.” They read it and think: “THAT’S what’s wrong with my living room.” 🧩 INTERRUPT Say something that doesn’t add up yet. “We sent back a $9,000 sofa. Nothing was wrong with it.” Now they have to know why. 🗝️ PROMISE Tell them there’s something inside they can’t get anywhere else. “The $38 lamp I put in a $2M home.” Insider access. A secret they get to keep. Your homework: pull up your last 3 posts. Read only the first line. Would a stranger stop for it? If the answer is “only if they already love me,” rewrite it using one of the 3 jobs above. Your portfolio already does the selling. Your hook just has to get them in the door. 🚪✨ Save this for the next time you’re staring at a blank caption. by @wagnerperspective
Interior designers: social media is shifting...again 👀 And before you throw your hands in the air and curse...don't worry! We've got you! We study what's getting saves, shares, and inquiries for interior design accounts. These are the content ideas we keep seeing work: 👉🏻 Design decision breakdowns: show the one choice that made the room work, not just the before and after 👉🏻 Rooms designed for a specific life, so your ideal client sees themselves in your work 👉🏻 Opinions and hot takes on design trends 👉🏻 Keywords in your captions: your city, your design style, and your services (full-service design, e-design, kitchen remodels, home renovations) Instagram is a search engine now. The words you use decide who finds you, so a potential client searching "[city] interior designer" or "modern kitchen renovation" should land on your profile. Save this for your next content plan, and send it to a designer friend who's been stuck on what to post ✨ Anddddd remember.....At Wagner Perspective, we create Instagram strategy and content for people in the home space business. If you want your social media done for you, DM us! We'd love to help! by @wagnerperspective

Hundreds of of home space professionals are doing the thing you’ve been putting off for months right now. They are getting all your clients. And you are sitting there wondering why...because you know that you are more talented than they are. But guess what? They are more visible than you are. So they are getting more work 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's a simple formula, really. Are you going to let those firms keep taking your clients just because you aren't actively posting on social media? I didn't think so. Win more clients, starting today! It's time to DM us and let us help you with your social. by @wagnerperspective
Home Builders, fear not! You guys don't need to be professional photographers and videographers to capture good content. What you need are better iPhone camera settings, and a steady arm. Don't worry, I have broken down both of these things to share EXACTLY how to create better. I'm telling you right now, if you are shooting home details, and you aren't using 2x zoom, then just like, throw your phone away all together or perhaps just light it on fire. IDK. That might be a better approach. No, I'm kidding. But, I would highly suggest using 2x zoom to shoot home details! And that's all I will say on that thank you so much okay goodbye! by @wagnerperspective
A good hook is not just “something catchy.” For custom home builders, a good hook usually has 3 things: 👷‍♀️ SPECIFICITY Give me a real number, a real problem, a real decision, a real consequence. Not: “Things to know before building a custom home.” Better: “Moving this wall today costs $500. Moving it in 3 months could cost $15,000.” 🚨 Specific feels real. 🚨 🛠️ TENSION Give me a reason to need the next sentence. This can be: A costly mistake. A delay. A decision that almost went sideways. A budget surprise. A site problem. A timeline issue. A “here’s what nobody tells you” moment. Basically, make your future client think: “Wait...what happened?” 🏡 RELEVANCE The person planning a custom home should immediately know: “Oh shit, this is for me.” Talk about the things they are ALREADY worried about: Budget. Timeline. Change orders. Land. Permits. Selections. Site conditions. Construction delays. What happens after they sign. The best hooks usually combine all 3: 🚨 Specific + tension + relevance.🚨 You do not need to become clickbaity. You just need to stop making your future clients work so hard to figure out why they should care. Save this before you write your next post. 🤠 by @wagnerperspective
Interior designers, architects, custom home builders + landscape architects: If the second you hit record you suddenly start talking like you’re presenting a quarterly earnings report...we need to fix that stat. 😂 You know your shit. The problem is that the second there’s an iPhone staring back at you, suddenly you forget how you normally speak. Here’s what I want you to try: 👉🏻 1. Talk to ONE actual person. Do not imagine you are “speaking to your Instagram audience."" Gross. Too much pressure. Picture one client sitting across from you asking the question. Instead of: “Today I’m going to explain the importance of material selection…” Imagine your client asked: “Okay but WHY does it matter which stone we choose?” Now answer them. That version is almost always better. 👉🏻 2. Record one tiny thought at a time. You do not need to deliver a flawless 90-second monologue in one take. Say one sentence. Stop. Take a second. Say the next one. I promiseeeee we can edit it together later. 👉🏻 3. Say the idea WITHOUT the script first. Before you read the perfectly written sentence, explain the idea out loud however it naturally comes out. Then immediately record the version you actually want to use. You’ll usually keep way more of your normal rhythm instead of slipping into your weird “I am being filmed” voice. 😂 👉🏻4. Move your freaking body. Use your hands. Stand up. Walk through the project. Point to the cabinetry you’re talking about. Hold the material sample. You’re an interior designer talking about an actual ROOM. You do not need to sit completely still like you’re filming a hostage video. 👉🏻 5. Give yourself a throwaway sentence. Start recording and say: “Okay, so…” “Alright, here’s the thing…” “Wait, let me explain this…” Then go into the actual hook. Cut the warm-up out later. Sometimes your brain just needs five seconds to realize, “Ohhhhh we’re having a conversation, not auditioning for a spot on the nightly news” Save this before the next time you prop your iPhone up, hit record and immediately forget how to be a human. 🤠 by @wagnerperspective
The hot take we never see other "Instagram Guru" accounts say - JUST BECAUSE THE FEATURE EXISTS DOES NOT MEAN YOU NEED TO IMMEDIATELY RUN OUT AND USE IT. Meta releases new features all the time. This is one of them. And this one obviously costs you $$$. My personal take is that this feature probably won't be as beneficial as they are marketing it to be (that's just my beef with this platform). But, we are here to share the information we know about that you don't want to spend hours researching. So, will you be using Meta One?! 🤔 Maybe it makes sense for you! MAYBE, you need to work with someone like me to find out! Curious about how we can help your home space business?! DM us today! by @wagnerperspective

We love a simple editing tip!!!!!! How easy!?!!? This makes a big impact too! Views for videos formatted like this are going through the roof right now! Also - everyone always asks me about which font I use because IT IS EVERYWHERE right now. On Instagram edits, I use Adversecase. I have a whole theory that if you don't have tight brand strategy where you have fonts that are locked into your brand, you should use fonts on Instagram that YOU SEE A LOT. I think this triggers people's brains because they think they are seeing something familiar. This is probably proven and written about somewhere - but I am just giving you my gut feelings because this is my Instagram and I can say whatever I want! Also - this font looks great for Architects, Interior Designers and Custom Home Builders anyway - so it kinda works out! If you are editing in Edits app, I'd love to share more tips with you. If you don't know how to do something, tell me in the comments and I will make you a tutorial video just for you! 👇 by @wagnerperspective
