OREGON COUNTRY, my debut album comes out NOVEMBER 3rd, 2026. so many things, good and bad, had to happen in order for this record to become and i guess you could say i’m grateful for all of it. Oregon Country is inspired by the landscapes and contradictions of the Pacific Northwest—exploring grief, belonging, queerness, and community. looking both backward and forward, asking how we got here—and where do we go next.

thank you endlessly to @nedandwendy_theband and @dominik_lukas_rola for helping produce these songs 🥺 i cannot wait to share more with everyone. thank you endlessly to any musician in town who helped this project BECOME. 🤍

SOMETHING IN THE WATER - OUT NOW WHEREVER YOU GET YOUR MUSIC.
i have spent the last decade advocating on issues of: abortion rights, sex education, gun violence prevention, civil rights, domestic violence/sexual violence, queerism, labor rights, drug policy, etc etc etc. and one thing i know for certain: there are a fuck ton of Americans who DO BELIEVE in freedom. and fight for it. i encourage anyone pissed off right now to put that energy somewhere useful (moreover shit posting on your story) — and to reach out to local organizations that align with issues you care about.

PRE-SAVE: SOMETHING IN THE WATER — NOW!!!! *link in bio*. this was the first song i wrote about our political landscape, and specifically about struggling with survivors guilt as an American. this songs hard to perform, hard to sing, and hard to re-enter the space i was in when i wrote it… but as i’ve played it more and more it’s become one of my favorite songs to do live. which is this really beautiful thing music has given me: taking topics that upset me, and changing the narrative i have around it into one of hope and resilience. we almost didn’t do this song in Estes and also almost had our set cut in half… THANK YOU JOHN PICKET for getting us back on stage to perform my last two songs. i would have been so sad if i didn’t get to play USA or somethings in the water. specially with Fall River right there, we had actual mountain water running down stream while we performed. it feels so crazy to think last time i was at Friends of Folk i couldn’t really play guitar — four years later im in the festival and about to put out the very song that’s the thesis to my upcoming album: OREGON COUNTRY (coming this fall). the world is silly and wild in so many ways but im so glad i stopped ignoring the little voice in the back of my head telling me that this is what i want to do, im really proud of how far i’ve come and all the collaborators i’ve worked with through this process. if i let men have their way with this song, it wouldn’t exist and it wouldn’t be coming out. so its a good thing i seldom listen to men. thank you Jordan and Lindsey for being on the first bill i ever performed this song at and helping me carry it through the completion line. I LOVE THIS SONG AND BOTH OF YOU!!!!!! 🌊❤️‍🔥🇺🇸🌈 JULY 4th!!! if you want to come to my open mic party just dm for address! by @wakingupwithray
