Kyun Chup Rahain

Music Production: @shirazuppal
Video Director & VFX: @maazmaudood
D.O.P: @mateenezzat

This is the first of many songs that dive into the unspoken — the social conflicts we carry silently, the thoughts too heavy to voice out loud. Kyun Chup Rahain is not just a song, it’s a space — for those who’ve ever felt alone with their inner battles, for those who’ve learned to observe quietly, and for those who are still waiting for the storm to pass. Written from the heart, this track carries a somber, lo-fi mood — a voice speaking for the unheard. It’s not commercial. It’s catharsis. It’s art. If it speaks to you, let it be yours. And if you feel someone else needs to hear it, share it with them. This journey is ours — different paths, same silence.

Lyrics:

Kyun chup rahain
Janay wo kesi batain kiya kartay thay.
Kyun chup rahain
Janay kyun ye sahain.

Hum hain nadaan
kyun hain bayzubaan
Janay kyun

Kyun chup rahain
Janay wo kesi batain kiya kartay thay.

Raat ke andheray mein ab, phirta raha
Raat ke andheray mein ab, phirta raha
Roshni ujala hai gum sum, phir raha ab kyun

Aasman mein badal chaaya,
man ke aansoun mein badal ye chaaya hai
Aasman mein badal ye chaaya hai
Aansoun ke badal ye chaaya hai

Hum hain nadaan
kyun hain bayzubaan
Janay kyun

Aasmaanoon mein likhi ye daastaan chorho humein, jaanay do yaar...

An overwhelming experience to be a part of @coke_studio . It's hard to explain, but I'll still try 😅
So many people were involved in creating this. The focus, the hustle, the teamwork altogether was inspirational.
It is hard to digest all that has happened.😅

It was my first time playing the synth bass on this level.
It has definitely been a learning experience from the start to end. Being exposed to the sounds this way has extended the horizons and hope it keeps growing.

Thank you to the whole team for being so awesome throughout. I am blessed to be a part of them and learn more from them everyday. 🥲🙏

Mazaa aagaya yaar uff! 🤩

Kia bataoun
Another heartfelt journey. From the first jam till the shoot, the emotional connection of this song has been wonderful. It was an honour to be a part of this surrounded by such class acts.

This song had a very minimalistic approach to it. It felt more like an emotion was being played in the form of musical notes and rhythms.

The story to me felt like a conversation that we have with ourselves, the 'Self Doubt' and the 'Hope'. When facing hurdles, sometimes it might seem impossible to overcome such situations, but eventually you remind yourself that no matter what, things always turn out to be better one way or the other.
Just hang in there, be hopeful.

Finally, it's a blessing to be part of this with these amazing human beings

Had a wonderful time last night with Sir Waleed an incredible bassist known for his work with Nescafé and Coke Studio. So much respect, great vibes, and beautiful conversations about music. 🎸✨
Good music, great company, and memories to cherish! 🙌❤️
