✨FIVE TRUTHS TO GET YOU THROUGH THIS WEEK✨

Mondays aren’t known for being the best day of the week. It’s the beginning of work weeks. It’s the first day of classes. It rudely interrupts weekends spent resting or having fun. As someone who clearly isn’t the biggest fan of Mondays, I decided to change the narrative. I’m speaking life over this week. When we combat negativity with scripture, it allows us to be unconventionally joyful. When we are full of light, people in the dark want to know what’s different about us. You are a walking testimony. The way you live Monday-Saturday shows people what it really means to follow Christ. We are called to be set apart.

Drop the verse that’s getting you through this week 👇🏼

Here are some of my favorite Christian jams! What we fill our minds with is what comes out of us. Theres so many sub genres of Christian music which can turn any time into worship time. Meditate on the Lords goodness always so we are always reflecting Him. I’m also always looking for new songs to add so drop suggestions 👇🏼👇🏼

“Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.”

As a Christian, we should be taking prayer request more seriously (coming from someone who didn’t for a long time).

Today in my reading, I read a passage many Christians are quite familiar with. (Mark 6:30-44). It shows how God can do a lot with a little. Me and ani were chatting the other day and the phrase “Gods not going to give you more than you can handle” was brought up. We laughed at it actually. That’s just not true. If God only gave us what we could handle we wouldn’t rely on Him. In the same way God used that tiny lunch, God can use you to do immeasurably more than you thought you could. Whether that looks like blessings or burdens, we are called to lean on Him always. If you’re in a season where you’re staring at your 5 loaves and 2 fish thinking “yeah I can’t feed 5,000 people with this”, you’re right. YOU can’t. But if you give those 5 loaves and 2 fish to Jesus, he can do it and have 12 baskets of leftovers! Praise God in heaven who can take what little I have and make it more than enough. -kee

as life gets busy, we can start to loose focus on what’s important. recently i’ve been in a weird season that i’ve never experienced before, and some days are really hard. but days like today remind me that God’s never left, he isn’t silent, he hasn’t forgotten me. most of the time, when we feel far from God, it’s because we’ve moved. we lose focus on Christ when things get busy, or hard.

so today i challenge you to spend time STUDYING God’s word. worship, move your body, eat a nourishing meal, journal, whatever it may be, but with him at the center of it all.

I told anisten if we made clips of me we’d be famous by the end of the day. Im taking advantage of her social media fast and posting whatever clips I want because I can (insert evil laugh). Anyways here’s some of my favorite clips from our episodes so far.

Church greeters are people too 😔

On a serious note, make sure you’re getting plugged into good Christ centered community! When I started serving at church regularly, it was a game changer for my daily walk. I had accountability, people carrying my burdens, and wisdom from the people serving along side me. If you have questions about the importance of community or how to get plugged in, send me a message!
