This is an installation we did for Bang Bang Vietnamese Canteen. A Young, hip and cool canteen style estaurant on Warren Street in London.

They wanted something that would appeal to their target crowd so we went for these retro comic book inspired prints.

Can office design encourage good behaviour?

Wallsmiths are not just about wall coverings and beautiful interiors.
We understand and are passionate about the difference interior design decisions can have on mood, well being and behaviour.

This holds true where it comes to office design. We not only focus on what looks good but on how to influence employee behaviours through the design of space and colours.

Whatever behaviours would you like to see in your office?

Today is World Interiors Day.
This day is recognised around the world throughout the entire month of May, and officially recognised this year on Saturday, 28 May 2022. It is a celebration of all things 'interior'. Why not unleash your inner 'interior designer' and give your home a revamp!
A feature wall is a great way to add a little 'something'.

It's the Weekend and it's Whiskey Day!

One of the most common forms of whisky that is sought after is Irish Whisky, and perhaps appropriately so. The origins of the word Whisky can be found in the Gaelic Language. It translates to 'water of life '.

Do you prefer your whiskey on the rocks or perhaps a 'whiskey sour?'

This is an installation we did for Tampopo in Manchester with scenes from traditional markets in Japan. Why not head there this Weekend and indulge in a whiskey cocktail?!

A quick and affordable way to revamp any room is to create a feature wall that draws the eye in.

Accent walls command attention and give even the smallest of rooms added gravitas.

Whether your style is bold and bright, nature inspired or a geometric look, with today's wallpaper designs anything is possible.

Did you know today is Drawing Day?
A day for us to express ourselves and be creative. Are you looking at your home or office space and wondering what you can do with it?

There are endless possibilities when it comes to wallpaper! You can even have a map of your town or city as a mural.

Why not let your imagination run wild?!

Today is World Cocktail Day!

This day is a global celebration of cocktails. It marks the publication date of the first definition of a cocktail on May 13 in 1806. The New York tabloid 'The Balance' and Columbian Repository defined a cocktail as "a stimulating liquor, composed of spirits of any kind, sugar, water and bitters. A world away from some of the amazing concoctions that today's mixologists invent!

This is a bespoke mural we did for the Servisair lounge at Gatwick airport. Do you indulge in a cocktail before you fly to get in that holiday vibe?

Why wallpaper?

It has been referred to as “clothes for walls” by top designers in the industry. That is because it allows you to create a unique ambiance in your home that no other wall finish can accomplish. The year 2022 will offer a wide selection of wallpaper choices that range from traditional floral patterns to modern art deco designs. Today’s wallpaper patterns can be mellow and subdued or bold and dramatic.

At Wallsmiths, wallpaper is our thing!

While regular wallpaper adds wall longevity and durability, custom wallpaper lets customers add a personal touch to their wall space. There are endless posibilities when it comes to designing your space, whether at home or your office but have you considered a map wall covering? These designs are great if you want to add a local touch, particularly to a cafe or restaurant.

We design our maps in conjunction with @atadesigns2000 and recently attended the VM & display show to showcase some of our work.

In November 1956, LIFE magazine published an article with the deceptively lighthearted title, “Animals Make a Hospital Happy.”

This is an installation we did for The Royal Marsden Children's Hospital. They wanted something bright and fun for the children to enjoy. Animals are always a great idea when it comes to children. This will always be one of our favourite pieces of work to date.

If you’re looking for interior design ideas on a budget, crafting projects can save you a significant amount of money.

Not only that – making your own designs will ensure your home interiors are packed with personality that’s all you, too.

This could be something as simple as picking out some printed wallpaper or posters and putting them into funky frames to create an eye-catching piece of artwork.

Or why not give old furniture pieces a new lease of life with some fresh paintwork? This works brilliantly with dining chairs, tables, shelves and so much more.

The trick here is to know your limitations to ensure you’re not going to end up with a less than the satisfactory result and waste money in the process.

But more importantly, making your own bespoke pieces should be fun, so let your imagination run wild.
