🥈STATE RUNNER-UP!🥈 What a fight, Raiders! Left it all on the course, battled to the very end, and brought home a STATE RUNNER-UP finish! So much heart, grit, and determination from this team. We couldn’t be prouder! Way to go, Raiders! ❤️🖤 by @wamegoxc
🥈4A BOYS STATE RUNNER-UP! 🥈 WHAT A SEASON! WHAT A TEAM! WHAT A RIDE! ❤️🖤 Words can’t fully capture the pride we feel for these boys. They battled through an incredible season, put in countless miles, pushed through the tough days, celebrated the victories, and continued to show up for one another every step of the way. And when it mattered most, they left absolutely everything out on that course! A second-place finish at the STATE level is an incredible accomplishment, and this team has so much to be proud of. They fought until the very end, coming up just 3 points shy of a state championship. While the margin was incredibly close, what this group accomplished and the memories they made along the way are so much bigger than a final score. A very special THANK YOU to our five seniors - Logyn, Braxton, Benny, Malachi, and Hunter! You have poured so much into this program. Your leadership, dedication, friendship, and love for this team have helped create something truly special. Thank you for the countless miles, the hard work, and the example you’ve set for those coming behind you. Your impact on Wamego Cross Country will last long after this season. To the coaches, teammates, families, and Raider community who have supported these boys along the way, thank you for being part of this journey! 4A STATE RUNNER-UP! A season to remember and a team we will never forget! by @wamegoxc
