W A R M P A R T S are a Post rock, alternative, instrumental, band based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. The bands music style has an easily identifiable connection to musical genres such as Krautrock and Shoegaze, with influences ranging from bands such a Add n to (x) , Can, Diiv, Neu, Mogwai and Toy amongst others. Warm Parts emerged from the Todmorden music scene back in 2024, and currently comprises of core members Rachael Elwell on synths, programming, and electronics (and the bands visual artist) and Dan Smith on guitar. Warm Parts continue to cultivated a loyal local following and have performed consistently across West Yorkshire's best music venues such as The Golden Lion (Todmorden) supporting Parastatic, Sister Ray Davis, Pale Blue Eyes; The Grayston Unity (Halifax) supporting Pale Blue Eyes and Mirror Revelations; and further afield at The Globe (Glossop) supporting Fuzz Club’s Maquina and at Amped (Huddersfield) supporting The Utopia Strong, amongst a range of other successful, well attended shows. “I was taken back to the late 1960s when Hawkwind were blowing minds with pummeling, psychedelic waves of sound. They are certainly continuing and sustaining their musical journey into the oeuvre of outsider, psychedelic, weirdness – noise-rock, a little akin to bands such as Wooden Shjips” International Times review of Warm Parts set for Pale Blue Eyes. 2026 Warm Parts release their second EP 'N E W C O L O U R S' on 12 and digital release , via @goldenliontodsounds in late October '26. by @warm.parts
As we are celebrating the release of our new EP 'New Colours' on @goldenliontodsounds , we would like to share our HUGE thanks and show admiration for our three remix musicians, who have each worked with one of our tracks to create a fresh new version. These three tracks feature on the B side of the 12" vinyl, and can also be downloaded and streamed online now. 💿 💿 💿 First up is Peter Duggal @peterduggal , who has created a brilliant version of our title track New Colours. Composer and producer Peter Duggal started out in the late 80s as Demonik, whose underground hit “Labyrinthe” was later voted one of the top 10 rave anthems of all time by DJ Magazine. He is now the creative partner of Wolfgang Flür (ex-Kraftwerk). Peter will be performing as part of our EP launch gig on 19th Nov at @goldenlion_todmorden , Todmorden. This will be the first public showing of his new 2027 live show ahead of its international tour. This remix is way way beyond how we thought New Colours could sound - it's an absolute stunner. Thank you , Peter 🙏🏻 Many thanks to @jamesaparicio who has mastered the remixes for the EP, as well as mixing and mastering our original tracks. #newcolours #warmparts #remixes #bsides #vinylrecord by @warm.parts

As we are on the cusp of releasing the New Colours EP, we wanted to give a shout out to music producer @jamesaparicio . James has worked with some epic acts such as Spiritualized, Goldfrapp, Mogwai and Depeche Mode, and currently works with some of our favourite bands of the moment such as @throwdownbones, @yobsband, @clustersunofficial , @sonsofzoku and tonnes more! From the off James understood our sound. He got our vibe and enhanced it beyond what we ever thought our music could sound like on a record. Working on these three tracks with him has shown us how it's done! It's made us even more excited for what's possible for future releases , and the ever evolving sound of Warm Parts. It's also made us realise that having the right, influential person on board during the creative process is huge! , and it's been a pleasure to work with him these last few months. Thanks, James 🙏🏻 - good times ahead for the album ✌🏻🖤 by @warm.parts
