In the past 30 days, WASH-Ed has experienced some BIG WINS! 🎉

• Two of our amazing WASH-Ed Co-Founders attended an exclusive MOU signing with the Rotary Club of Manila as one of 10 strategic partners to socially and economically benefit communities.

• WASH-Ed and Happy Tap Philippines signed a strategic partnership agreement to further scale WASH initiatives in Philippine schools.

• DepEd Dasmariñas City hosted the "Strengthening School WinS" event, where WASH-Ed was invited to share insights and introduce our newest product (and Kiko Carabao) for educators to use in the classrooms when teaching WASH. 🕹🐃💧

• "WASH HEROES: Kiko's Flood Escape" received the People's Choice Award (Social Impact) during the 2025 Tech Fest at UTS due to its popularity among youth and educators alike. A group of students from the Software Development Studio (FEIT) has been working on a gamified learning tool that promotes healthy WASH habits and tests learners' understanding of the WASH-Ed modules.

Thank you to all our partners, supporters, and communities for helping WASH-Ed continuously grow and scale our impact in reaching every classroom in the Philippines! 💙 by @washeducation

Today on #WorldWaterDay, we're reminded that 2.2 billion people still live without access to safe water – a fundamental human right that remains unrealized for far too many.

At @washeducation , we believe everyone has a responsibility to take action. Whether through education, infrastructure, or community engagement, each of us can contribute to solving the global water crisis and advancing SDG6: water and sanitation for all by 2030💧

We're immensely grateful to our institutional partners, sponsors, schools, dedicated volunteers, and the resilient local communities who make our work possible. Your support enables us to continue our mission of "saving communities, one classroom at a time." by @washeducation

Tomorrow, we celebrate International Women's Day! 💜🤍💚

While we should aim to appreciate and empower women every day, it's an excellent opportunity to remember how far we've come in fighting for women's rights, education, and independence.

This is our WASH-Ed team saying thank you to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, daughters, teachers, nurses, engineers, community leaders, and female founders who have changed lives and saved lives. by @washeducation

Exciting news from the PSSE Annual National Convention 2024! 🌏💧

WASH-Ed's Ira Joshua Manuel and Grace Devon Gevero, our Water and Health Sector Leads, are at the forefront of National Discussions on how sanitary engineers are pivotal in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our Co-Founders shared how their expertise and collaboration with the education sector enabled WASH-Ed to successfully craft and implement its evidence-based learning curricula in driving sustainable urban development, clean water, and sanitation—key components of the SDGs.

Josh was especially recognised for his role as Resource Speaker, captivating the audience on his journey from a student grappling with social anxiety to becoming a leader in the WASH sector. His story of overcoming challenges and embracing vulnerability to drive positive change is a testament to the transformative power of water leadership to create a sustainable future.

Our team of Youth Volunteers adhere to the philosophy of "work hard, play hard", which is how they spent their celebratory dinner after wrapping up our 2024 EYAA program. Joined by our friends from @caloocanyoungleaders and @angatbuhay, it was a fun evening of sharing wins, laughs, and good memories of making a difference for Philippine future leaders.

CalWASH is co-led by Masy Consultants and CYLI and sponsored by Maybank, @aseanfoundation, @maybankfoundation and the @asean Secretariat.
