*"💧 Water of Hope | Bringing life drop by drop to displaced families, children, and pregnant women in Gaza. Together, we quench the thirst for dignit

Meet Ibraheam and Heba, A brother and sister in Deir al Balah, Gaza. They live in a camp for displaced families. There are no water taps in the camp. There is no electricity. So clean water used to arrive in trucks. But one day the trucks stopped coming. Mothers and children were suffering. Babies had unsafe water in their bottles, mothers were using sea water to cook, and all the children were getting sick. Ibraheam reached out to his friend in the UK to ask if she could help. Together with 3 other mothers in the UK they set up ‘Water of Hope’ to get 7000 litres of clean drinking water to all of the displaced families in the camp, every single day. What your money pays for…. Water is taken from the Mediterranean Sea to a desalination plant, from here the water is processed to remove the salt and make it safe to drink … this bit uses solar power but also fuel - which is very expensive at the moment. The mothers in the UK send all donations to Ibraheam and Heba, who pay for a water truck to deliver clean drinking water to the camp. Every day the kids get excited to see the truck arrive. Kids like Amir, Yousef, Hayat and Judy. Every truck costs £250 It not only brings safe water, it also brings hope But we can’t do this without your help. It takes a community to support a community. Help us keep Water Of Hope going by donating, fundraising, or sharing the project. Together we can make a difference Thank you from all of us. @ #water_of_hope1 by @water_of_hope1

Is your child asking about Gaza? unicef… ‘Focus on the helpers It’s important for children to know that people are helping each other with acts of courage and kindness. Find positive stories, such as the first responders assisting people, or young people calling for peace. Ask if your child would like to try a positive action. Perhaps they could draw a poster or write a poem for peace, or maybe you could participate in a local fundraiser. The sense of doing something, no matter how small, can often bring great comfort. If you and your child would like to get involved with Water of Hope then send us a message.’ Water of Hope team 💦🫶🏽 #water #waterofhope #children #childrenarethefuture #waterislife by @water_of_hope1

Water of Hope’s first month has been a massive success and it’s thanks to all of you amazing people. Without your donations, fundraisers and sponsored events the families in camp would struggle to get fresh water every day. Do you want to help? Reach out to the team and organise a fundraiser. Thank you! 💦🫶🏽 The rest of this month is going to be so fruitful! 🤗 #water #waterofhope #waterislife #support #sponsor #fundraise #donatetoday #sponsoring by @water_of_hope1
In the heart of one of the most severe humanitarian crises—where access to clean water becomes a daily struggle—*the "Water of Hope" project* was born to bring life back and restore dignity to displaced families who have endured thirst and deprivation. This documentary is not just a reflection of reality, but a true testimony from mothers, children, and families whose lives were transformed by every drop that reached them. We take you on a journey from suffering… to hope. From thirst… to life. From darkness… to the light of human solidarity. *This is the story of "Water of Hope".* by @water_of_hope1

Water of Hope supplied a water truck for displaced travellers heading down from the north of Gaza. Ibraheam, ‘The atmosphere was positive despite the pain, and the scene was truly moving. The need is immense, and families were suffering from severe thirst. When the water truck arrived, people felt as if it was a precious treasure. Everyone was able to drink and felt comforted and hopeful — and that you are with them.’ #waterofhope #waterislife #water #togetherforpalestine #water #watercolorpainting #waterproofmakeup #help #support #freshwater #freedom by @water_of_hope1
