Meet Ares! 🐾🤍 Our newest member of the Wax Crescent family!
After losing my beloved Oscar almost two years ago, I wasn’t sure I would ever be ready to open my heart to another dog. Oscar was my soulmate, my greatest love for 14 years, and I’ve missed him every single day since his passing.
Louie and I had settled into a comfortable rhythm and routine, but somewhere in my heart, I knew something was missing.
And then, this past Sunday at @thehighlandsfarmersmarket , love struck.
Some of my regular customers stopped by my booth with a foster dog in tow. From the moment Ares stepped into my booth, I knew he was my dog. Sometimes love finds us when we least expect it.
The very next day, Ares came home with me.
Ares is a 6-month-old Husky who loves nothing more than morning runs, endless snuggles, and being close to his people. He’s already brought so much joy into our home, and he’s officially joined the Wax Crescent team!
A heartfelt thank you to @afriendofjack for bringing us together and helping me find my next soul dog.
Welcome to the family, sweet Ares. ❤️ by @waxcrescent

Just a day in the life of our shop dog, Louie!

As you can see he’s a very hard-working, busy pup. Come by the shop to say hi and give him a treat!

You can also vote Louie best @insidelongmont shop dog online!
