Brodie’s new project @myythmusic just cast their first spell 🌙🕯️🥀 listen to “Anthem” here 🔻

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@myythmusic is a project I’ve been working on for years with @noisysavage, who was a co producer with @wearecathedrals. Our mantra was to make music only for the joy of it - no overthinking, just pure creativity and fun. What emerged was a blend of my witchy, pop noir aesthetic and Max’s trip hop, surreal production… a bit darker and stranger than Cathedrals, but still in the same family. We’re releasing the music similarly to how it was written, without the painful grind of hype and outreach and ads - just putting it out into the world for those who want to find it. “Anthem” is our introduction, a song about finding authenticity in a sea of sameness, something that feels especially apropos as we all brace ourselves on this runaway train of tiktok homogeny and AI unreality. This project is an ode to the weird and the flawed - the frayed edges of real life that I find myself reaching for like a comforting blanket when things start to feel too slick, too quick, too filtered. I hope you enjoy our drop into the cosmic bucket of art, whatever that may mean to you. 🖤✨

huge thanks to @nachodelariega for the gorgeous mastering work on this one.

Do we make Matrix music? I think we might.... Curious which one is your fav. Mine might be the "This is Sparta" kick.

Had a good time putting these together and thanks to Luke Watson for the help! by @brodie

So much love these past few days ❤️

Friday night’s listening party was so much fun—getting to share this music with our core family @57.nyc, seeing everyone’s faces, feeling that energy in the room... All the love you’ve all been showing since the release has my heart brimming with gratitude 🙏

Making music can feel pretty isolating—but moments like these remind me why we do this. It’s not just about the tracks living in the studio, it’s about what happens when they find their people.

This journey of building 57 Records isn’t just about one release—it’s about creating something bigger for all of us. A home for the countless conversations, collaborations, and moments of magic that happen in our little corner of Brooklyn. These past few days feel like the start of that next chapter.

Thank you for believing in this vision, for dancing with us until sunrise, for making 57 what it is. We’re just getting started 🖤
