Join us tomorrow for MILES BEYOND at 5:30pm on the Waterloo Records Stage!

Miles Beyond are globetrotting musicians from Romania and Texas with a passion for storytelling through music. Born from the meeting of Romanian classical tradition and American rock and blues, Miles Beyond's music is shaped by years of travel, cultural exchanges and years spent performing and writing across the world. INOMA is a concept EP written while traveling across 50 countries. INOMA reflects a journey influenced by various cultures, treading the path between the pull of the familiar and the call of the unknown. The name blends inimă (Romanian for “heart”) and nomad (English for "wanderer").

INOMA will unfold chapter by chapter, but for one night, on October 2, you can experience the whole story from beginning to end.

After that, the doors close and INOMA begins its journey into the world, one chapter at a time.

We’re so happy to bring INOMA into the world and we’d love for you to be there✨

Come hang with us at Waterloo and experience INOMA for the very first time, the whole record, in Dolby Atmos, with music and visuals all around you.

We’ll also play the songs acoustic, share some stories, and just spend the evening together celebrating this thing we’ve been working on for the past year.

Come hear INOMA in full before we start sharing it with the world, chapter by chapter.

How do you choose which guitar will grace your record?

At Moonlab studios, I am surrounded by legendary instruments.
So it’s not for lack of choice.

The red 12 string semi-hollow electric or the hot-rodded Rickey?

The ‘65 Strat with all those decades of life?

One of the other 14 or 15 guitars not pictured?

Scrap the guitar and noodle around on the mindblowing collection of synthesizers? (I noodled, then we brought @david.klingman to play them proper, we’ll share that soon🤘🏼)

It came down to the attitude of the song.

The guitar line needed bite and grace and nothing else had the attitude of this Gibson Firebird. When it feels and sounds right you just go with it 🖤

Big thanks to @moonlabstudios for the hospitality and incredible selection of fiddles 🎸🎸 (and 🎹🎹)
