Last week, we were delighted to support the 2026 @cuisinegoodfoodnz Awards once again, celebrating the culinary talent, innovation and dedication that continue to shape Aotearoa’s vibrant hospitality industry. Bringing together more than 600 of the country’s leading chefs, restaurateurs and hospitality professionals, the awards recognise the people and venues setting the benchmark for dining excellence across New Zealand. For over two decades, Cuisine has set the gold standard, widely regarded as New Zealand’s pre-eminent restaurant awards. In 2026, 19 category winners were named, each representing the pinnacle of achievement in their field. Our media relations activity for Cuisine has delivered over 100 pieces of media coverage for the awards this year and the superb group of winners throughout our cities and regions. As a sponsor of the awards, we were especially proud to see Chef Rex Morgan receive the Pead Legend Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to New Zealand hospitality throughout his career. Congratulations to Rex and all of this year’s category winners, hat recipients and destination dining awardees on your well-deserved achievements! 📸 - @chrishollomanphoto by @wearepead

This July, ordering a cocktail could be the most generous thing you do all month 🍸 For the fifth consecutive year, our client @lyresspiritco has partnered with @nzdryjuly, bringing back ‘Cocktails for a Cause’ menus across Aotearoa to raise funds for Kiwis affected by cancer. The mechanic is simple: order a Lyre’s cocktail at any participating venue throughout July, and $1 goes directly to the Dry July Foundation. A month off alcohol comes with its own benefits too: better sleep, more energy and, most importantly, no hangxiety! Cocktails for a Cause is running throughout July at eight venues nationwide, including @onslow.nz and @soulbarandbistro in Auckland, @sugotga in Tauranga, and @interconwlg in Wellington. by @wearepead
It’s amazing to see Pead Partner Jack Wheeler featured in Stuff discussing how AI is changing the way people search for and discover information online. As AI becomes a bigger part of how people find information, businesses and organisations are having to think differently about how they show up online. It's an area we're spending a lot of time helping clients navigate. A timely conversation that will only become more important for communicators and business leaders. Check out the article in the comment section! by @wearepead
On Wednesday evening, we were delighted to host some of Aotearoa’s most inspiring women for a celebration of @elizabethardenanz’s relaunch of their pioneering PREVAGE Multi-Restorative Creams. Guests were invited to explore the new Day and Night formulations over a stunning three-course meal at @onslow.nz. Elizabeth Arden National Educational Manager @letsmakeupbynica introduced our guests to the world of PREVAGE, providing insight behind the reformulation and hero ingredient, Idebenone.
