Your mind gets a lot of attention. How about your body?

After our first beautiful session together, we’re opening the space again for another PSYCHEDELIC BREATH® experience @mysensesberlin.

An invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with your body and explore what happens when you let go.

PSYCHEDELIC BREATH® combines rhythmic breathing and breath holds with electronic music. This dynamic practice can shift your perception, bring you into deeper contact with yourself and allow you to experience an altered state of consciousness.

Every experience is different. There’s nothing you need to achieve, no particular way you need to feel.

No previous breathwork experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity.

Our space is queer affirming. Everyone is welcome to show up exactly as they are.

We’ve probably all said it at some point. You’ve been through a tough time, someone asks how you’re doing, and you say: “I finally feel like myself again.” Meaning the happy, functioning version of yourself. As if everything else was just a temporary state.

This phrase has stuck with us because it shows how naturally we associate happiness with our true selves. Being happy has a good reputation. Sadness, anger, and insecurity, not so much. Especially in the world of personal development and spirituality, it’s easy to get the impression that the goal is to feel happy and content all day long.

But the world isn’t always a happy place. There’s plenty happening socially, politically, and in our personal lives that can make us sad or angry. And sometimes, we have good reasons not to be happy. Feelings aren’t a problem to be fixed. They show us when something isn’t right or needs our attention.

Are we any less ourselves when we’re sad, angry, or frustrated? We don’t think so. To us, this is also about self-love: treating ourselves with kindness even when we’re not feeling good.

That’s why Studio Amor stands for aliveness. We believe feeling alive matters more than feeling good all the time. Being alive includes sadness, anger, and fear. Our mission is to help people feel again, so we can reconnect with what’s really going on inside us, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Happiness is still welcome. As a visitor, not an obligation.

Less self-optimization. More connection.

What happens when you let your breath lead?

If you want to explore what can open up when you move out of your head and more deeply into your body, this is for you.

We’re inviting you to Studio Amor’s first PSYCHEDELIC BREATH® session in Berlin.

PSYCHEDELIC BREATH® is an intensive breathwork practice combining rhythmic breathing and breath holds, supported by electronic music. As the usual mental noise starts to fade into the background, your perception may begin to shift and you can enter an altered state of consciousness.

No previous breathwork experience is needed. Come with curiosity and an open mind.
This space is queer affirming. Everyone is welcome to show up exactly as they are.

One more thing: We know breathwork can be an investment, and we don’t want that to be the reason you can’t join us. We’re keeping 2 spots available on a pay-what-you-can basis. If that would support you, just send us a message - no explanation needed.

Please note: This is a dynamic breathwork session and may not be suitable for everyone. Please review the contraindications before booking. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that none of the listed contraindications apply to you and that you are able to take part safely.

We’re looking forward to sharing this one with you ✨ by @wearestudioamor

Usually we talk here about connection, relationships, intimacy and what it means to live a little closer to ourselves.

But none of those things exist outside of the world we live in. For us, queer visibility is personal. We are a couple. We love each other. We kiss. Sometimes we post a photo of it.

None of this should feel particularly radical.
And yet there are political efforts to roll back rights and protections affecting queer and especially trans people.
The AfD’s 2025 federal election programme calls for the complete repeal of Germany’s Self-Determination Act and an end to public funding for what it describes as “Trans-Kult” and “Genderideologie”. Its parliamentary group has also called for ending certain international LGBTIQ funding, stopping rainbow flags at German diplomatic missions and abolishing the federal action plan “Queer leben”.

We’re sharing this because queer visibility matters to us. Not only when it’s comfortable. Not only at Pride. Not only when nobody objects.

Today, Berlin votes.

Inform yourself about what the parties stand for and what their policies would mean for the people around you. And if you’re eligible to vote, use your voice!

Okay, but what actually is PSYCHEDELIC BREATH®?

It’s a dynamic breathwork practice combining rhythmic breathing, breath holds and electronic music. The breath can bring you into an altered state of mind, where the usual mental noise gets quieter and things that are often harder to access in everyday life can begin to surface - emotions, memories, insights or simply a different perspective.

When we first tried it, we were skeptical.

We did it anyway.

And afterwards, something had shifted.

We didn’t fully understand what had just happened, but we knew we wanted more of it.

That first session was also one of the first moments we allowed ourselves to imagine that something like Studio Amor could actually exist.

It gave us the courage to trust ourselves and actually believe in the idea.

@psychedelicbreath is a contemporary method developed by @eva.kaczor. Intentional and rhythmic breathing practices themselves go back much further and have been used across cultures and traditions for thousands of years.

We’ll be sharing dates for our upcoming PSYCHEDELIC BREATH® sessions soon.

Stay close 🫂 by @wearestudioamor

We’ve been asking ourselves this a lot lately.

Building Studio Amor also means putting our faces on the internet and talking about things we deeply care about.

And somehow, that can feel incredibly vulnerable.

When we put ourselves out there, we become aware of being perceived.

By friends.
Clients.
People we used to know.
Strangers.
That one person from school we haven’t spoken to in 15 years.

And while we can choose what we post, we can’t control what other people think about it.

There’s even a psychological phenomenon called the spotlight effect: we tend to overestimate how much other people notice and think about us.

But we think there’s something deeper here too.

Being seen means giving up some control over how we are seen.

Someone might misunderstand us.
Think we’re trying too hard.
Think we’re cringe.
Or simply not like us.

We’re still trying to figure out how to share what we care about without performing a version of ourselves, and how to take our work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.

And maybe cringe isn’t always a sign to pull back.

Maybe sometimes it’s a sign to lean in and practice being a little more courageous about being seen.

So here is us, trying to film a video for Studio Amor, finding ourselves completely ridiculous and being unable to stop laughing long enough to get the shot.

We never got the shot.

But we got this 🫠 by @wearestudioamor

You can get used to almost anything. Even a life you don’t really want.

I’m interested in the moment we start noticing again - the no we keep overriding, the exhaustion we’ve normalised, the things that make us feel alive.
Maybe one way out is in.

I currently have spaces open at Studio Amor for people who want to reconnect with what they actually want and create more choice in how they live, work and relate.

My practice is queer affirming.

A few panic attacks, one fight about whether this photo looked professional enough, and a decision to leave what we knew to build something we don’t fully know how to do yet.

Somewhere between the fear, doubt and endless to-do lists, we realised something: we’re really, really happy.
Studio Amor is our attempt at building more of that. Unfinished, imperfect, and getting better day by day.

And we’re launching our Telegram channel to take you along for the parts that don’t always make it onto Instagram - the ideas, updates, tiny wins and everything we’re figuring out as we go.

Come build this with us. Link in bio.

What happens when love feels easy, but desire doesn’t?

I’m interested in the places where emotional intimacy and sexual intimacy meet. And what happens when they don’t.

Not because there is one right way to love, desire or build a relationship.

But because there can be a difference between choosing distance and needing distance to feel safe.

And I think that difference is worth getting curious about.

At Studio Amor, I work with individuals and couples around the emotional, relational and sexual dynamics that shape how we experience ourselves and each other.

If you’re interested in understanding these dynamics in your own life, I’d love to explore them with you.
