For everyone that knows me knows how important my family is to me. So this one stings…late last month my Gradma Sally passed away. When my mom broke the news to me and my sister, I didn’t really know what to think. She’s been there for me and my family longer than anyone I know. She’s raised a beautiful mother, sister, daughter, and person in my mom and did the same for her brother, Brian. She was a spark in every room even in her last days. She was never afraid of a good time and the slickest card shark of them all. And she has gotten me pretty damn good sometimes. Knowing the last imagine I saw of her was a smile and a laugh, and giving her a kiss on check telling her I love her before I left michigan gives me a lot of peace now knowing that was the last time I saw her. But that’s who she was, unforgettable. I’ll miss you more and more everyday Grandma Sally and glad to know you’re up there with Grandpa finally getting to see him again. Keep watching over my mom for me and making sure you’re there with her. I love you ❤️ by @wehrle_braxton
Dear Chris, When I heard the news that you passed, I didn’t want to believe it was real. I was in a state of shock and I still am, and I think I always will be because I don’t want to believe it. You were the best uncle to me and the little ones, father to Jake and Mike, a husband to Erin, and even a better brother to my dad and Beau. As an uncle, I couldn’t have asked for better. You always made sure we were all good. From going to the Christmas lights with the cousins when we were younger in freezing weathers to my 21st birthday when you flew out to come celebrate with me and my family. As a father, you could not have raised a better set of boys in Mike and Jake. I see so much of you in them and they bring an energy that is unmatched that was shown by you. What you brought to this world will always be carried with them forever. As a brother to my dad and Beau, you were so supportive with them and were always there for each other. And what you did for my dad mentally, physically, and emotionally…I will never forget what you did for each other. You mean so much to him as well as to me and so many others around the world. You were a role model to me on how to be such a father and uncle to the little ones. You were a light in the room at all times and never failed away from a good time. You always knew how to make others around you feel better. You were always there for your boys and it was an amazing sight to see how much happiness you gave them and others around you. I am forever thankful for you and everything you have given me and my family especially my dad. Thank you for your contribution to this world with your smile and laugher. With you the world was always a better place. I will do whatever I can for your boys when you are gone, I’ll make it a promise to you Uncle Chris and I know they will always be a part of you and bring the amazing characteristics you shown them into this world throughout their lives. Until next time Uncle Chris. I’ll forever miss you and love you. by @wehrle_braxton
I can’t really put into words how saddened I was when I heard you passed. For anyone who doesn’t know who I am talking about, his name is Keith. Keith was my second dad and a big reason why I am who I am today. Keith is a sole reason why I played baseball in the first place. I wouldn’t know my friends that I know today and half of the people I met from baseball if it wasn’t for him. One day, Keith decided to take me hitting at the willows with him and his son Bryce and after hitting, that night he showed up at my doorstep with a registration form for Summerlin South Little League and told my dad, “let me know when you sign it and bring it over, he’s playing baseball”. And I’ve never looked back since, he’s the reason why I love the game as much as I do today because that’s the man he is. Keith was loving, caring, charismatic, and a great father to Bryce and Evan. And even a better husband to Marian. He impacted your life in ways you would never know. There are too many reasons I can thank him for: one being meeting my best friend Bryce, and for letting Bryce be my first friend in my dad‘s neighborhood when we moved there. Also, thank you for having such open arms and letting me be the annoying ass kid running around the neighborhood and all around his house growing up. And thank you for being my second dad, and inspiring me to be a better man. And thank you for introducing me to baseball because without the sport, I wouldn’t be where I am today and know who I know. There is a quote that says "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day... unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear." And I know he will be with the Rogers family everyday and with me everyday as we go throughout this thing called life. We will miss you every day, and thank you for everything you have done for me. I love you Keith, Marian, Bryce, and Evan. by @wehrle_braxton

Q2 of 2025…talk about life changes. Watched one of my best buds graduate, just another day in the gym with the fellas, moved to another country 🇸🇪 with my best friend to play some ball, saw some old pals and made some new ones in a little town called Attnang Puchheim, and getting to see the world in a whole perspective…can’t wait to see what Q3 has got in store by @wehrle_braxton

One by one, @wehrle_braxton’s teammates decided it was time to level up the distractions during the postgame interview.
