Helping women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s say YES to life again after trying it all to overcome pain.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Yep this sums it up.

I get asked all the time “what do you mean by training to say yes?”

Well let’s break it down slide by slide ➡️

I train so I can rip it on the slopes 2-3x a year.

I train to explore new countries and see the world.

I train to rip it behind a boat or try whatever side quest I get into on the weekends.

I train to soak up mems and adventures with my parents and in laws.

I train to make mems with my little fam. (This was a core mem- weens first time on the beach and he was thriving).

I train to stand and dance for hours on end at shows.

I train to say yes to the crazy hikes and bucket list trip opportunities to come.

I train to cross finish lines and push my potential.

I train for the anytime “yes”. Spontaneous opps will never get a no from me… like this solo trip to Europe for my first time overseas where we hiked the full city circle of Dubrovnik navigating thousands of stairs and inclines.

I train to kick my future kids asses and prove to them mom is strong and cool.

I train to try the new activities and suck at them so I can keep showing up to improve. by @wellnesslo.dpt

One day when I’m *insert any relevant dream*

We aren’t getting any younger.
Time isn’t going to slow down.
We only have one body.

One day is now.

And damn this made me extremely emotional to watch back. From the trenches to finding my way out and now having the honor of helping other women find their spark again in doing things that give them life.

Truly brought tears to my eyes.

Stop waiting for one day.
Take action today.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Zion arrival, and Zion Rain Day

We added the sand dunes onto our itinerary because they allowed dogs. And dare I say sully thrived… peep slide 6 for a near scorpion fold by the boy.

We arrived in Zion and it absolutely blew us away how vast it was. We had angels landing and the narrows on the itinerary but the weather had other plans. Slide 9 gives a good idea of just how much it rained… that is the entrance for the narrows hike that is roaring at 327 cfs and 6-7 feet above the normal water level. Needless to say we had to adjust our plans and enjoyed a rainy day exploring the park.

The silver lining brought water falls on water falls that you normally can’t see on a dry day.

Still logged many miles on the ole leggies and had a blast on our dunes and rain day excursions.

Type 2 fun in a nut shell.

Angels landing was terrifying yet so incredibly breath taking.

He has never once said no to my type 2 fun ideas. Highly recommend marrying the guy who says yes to your type 2 fun adventures without batting an eye. The race days, the long training sessions, the insane requests, and wild trip ideas. It’s always a yes.

Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon 📍

Off the grid in the depths of our creators beautiful work. Still in awe at the sights and scenes in these canyons.

7 miles, 1,400 ft of elevation gain, lots of snacks, and quality time with hubs and ween taking it all in! by @wellnesslo.dpt

So much beauty to take in. So little time to do so.

I’ll pass on accepting the limitations as a reality. Not in this life or the next one.

Look at God’s creation. I’m in awe.

When I was diagnosed with POTS I was struggling to run and lift heavy without symptoms. So I had to find new hobbies to improve my aerobic capacity…

*insert swimming hyperfixation*

I was in week 3 of swimming consistently and my lower back was absolutely screaming. And at first you might think why would her low back hurt with an overhead activity?

Because my thoracic mobility and lay mobility were absolutely garbage. And when you are lacking in one area another area of the body will make up for it.

These are the 3 exercises I have been doing before each swim that has tremendously helped my lower back pain while swimming and after.

A. Lat prayer stretch: opening up the Lats for better overhead reach
B. Weighted lat pull over: working that new mobility from exercise A with load and teaching control at end range
C. KB arm bar: working the scapular stabilizers while moving the spine from top to bottom

An absolute banger line up for overhead work. Save for your cranky back 🤝

Unhinged reason #2 I need to be physically fit until I am 100 that have nothing to do with my appearance 🤠

Character building at its finest 💅

A few scrapes and minor blood and we got back on the bike and finished the ride. Grateful to have an able body to carry me through even the embarrassing moments as a beginner. 😂
