📚 Well, here they are! My little collection of books! 💕

Apparently, I can’t stick to just one genre. 😂

There’s a little something for everyone here — magical adventures for children, stories about love and connection, a journal for finding more happiness in everyday life, and my newest book, The Order of the Second Bloom, a magical take on the wild ride of midlife and perimenopause.

Each of these books started as a little idea that wouldn’t leave me alone until I turned it into something real.

Some were written to help, some to entertain, and some because I had a story I just had to tell.

They’re all very different, but each one has a little piece of my heart in it.

Swipe through to meet them! 🌸

With love,
Annie

🌸 Welcome to Well Wishes!

I’m Annie! I’m a mom, a therapist, an author, and someone who loves creating things that might make life a little happier.

Over the years, I’ve had so many ideas for stories, books, and little things that could help people. Well Wishes is where I’ve brought them all together.

You’ll find books for grown-ups and children, a little magic and imagination, self-help guides, therapy tools, and encouraging little pick-me-ups.

My hope is that something here brings you a little happiness, helps you through a difficult moment, or gives you something wonderful to get lost in.

I’m happy you’re here! 💕

🌸 Well, this is me! Or at least it was me before perimenopause added a permanent sheen of exhaustion and a generous helping of brain fog. 😂

I’m Annie — a mom, therapist, author, and someone who has never been very good at focusing on just one thing!

I’ve spent over 20 years helping people as a therapist, but I’ve also always loved writing and creating. And the way I create things is a little bananas.

Usually, an idea pops into my head about something that might help someone, and I just can’t let it go until I’ve made it. Of course, that idea leads to three more, and before I know it, I’ve started another project!

Here’s the funny part. Between being a busy mom and running my therapy practice, I don’t exactly have hours of free time to sit at a desk and write.

So I write everything on my phone, in the Notes app, while my daughter sleeps on me. Every book, every story, every self-help program, every little creation. All written that way!

Somehow, that’s turned into children’s books, journals, and now my first adult fiction book, The Order of the Second Bloom, which is especially close to my heart as I navigate my own adventures in perimenopause.

My Etsy shop is another collection of those ideas, filled with things I’ve learned through years of therapy work — resources for fellow therapists, tools I use in sessions, self-help programs, and little pick-me-ups.

I hope somewhere among these creations you’ll find a little warmth, connection, encouragement, or maybe even some answers.

I’m glad you’re here. And I’m always happy to help. 💕

Which one is Shellington? He walked right on past this like he didn’t see it! Haha! Wishing everyone well! ❤️🙏🏻 by @wellwishesmagic

What if a little flower shop could make the impossible possible?

A frog who can’t hop, an elephant with a squeaky trumpet, and a zebra who’s lost his stripes…

Something magical is happening in the forest!

Join Ayla on a colorful adventure filled with friendship, kindness, funny little surprises, and a whole lot of flower-powered magic!

Ayla and the Magical Flower Shop is a charming picture book for little dreamers, animal lovers, and anyone who believes a little kindness can make a big difference.

A little story behind the story: This book was inspired by a make-believe game I played with my daughter when she was very little. She had a magical flower shop made from her toy flowers, and I dressed up as different animals who came to her for help. I wanted to capture those special memories for her in a book. She wouldn’t let me cut a single part of our adventure, so it’s a little wordier than your typical picture book!

To all my perimenopause pals, I’m sending you a little extra love and magic today. 🌸💕

Some days, this whole experience is just plain HARD. And sometimes it’s comforting to know there are other women out there navigating the same bewildering changes.

So consider this a little virtual hug, a cozy blanket, and permission to have a less-than-wonderful day without being any less wonderful yourself. 🦋

I’ve tucked a tiny spell into the slides for whenever you need a moment of comfort.

And if you’re one of my perimenopause sisters, come say hello! I’d love to know you’re out there. 💗✨

🌸 Feature Friday!

Sometimes life leaves us feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or just a little disconnected from ourselves.

I created Reset & Rebuild: 10 Days of Healing & Strength to offer a little support during those times.

It’s a 48-page guide that combines daily mantras, gentle yoga or movement, small healing activities, and reflection questions. Each day also includes a little psychology behind the practices.

And you don’t have to finish it in 10 days! Take your time, revisit the exercises, and use whatever feels helpful.

💕 I’m sharing a little sample from Day 1 today. Give it a try!

If you’d like to explore the full program, it’s available in my Well Wishes Etsy shop. Link in bio! ✨

We have a tiny resident who returns to the very tip of our hibiscus every single night. 🦎🌺 Look at that amazing long tail!

Same branch. Different pose. Night after night.

I’m not sure whether he’s practicing yoga, auditioning for Cirque du Soleil, or simply showing off. But I’ve become quite invested in his nightly performances. 😂

We once had a little snail who kept appearing in different places around our yard, and I ended up making a children’s storybook about his adventures for my daughter.

Now I’m wondering…

Does anyone else think this little guy deserves his own children’s book? 📚💕 by @wellwishesmagic

Ever wish your brain had an OFF switch? 💕

Sometimes we get so caught up in thinking, planning, worrying, and going over things that we forget to give our minds a little rest.

Overthinking can be exhausting, especially when we’re trying to figure everything out at once.

Here are a few simple tricks that might help quiet some of that mental chatter and make the day feel a little easier.

Sometimes the smallest things really do help. 🌸

What if midlife came with a little magic? 🌸✨

The brain fog. The hot flashes. The sleepless nights. The moments when you wonder where the woman you used to be has gone.

Now imagine receiving a mysterious letter from an ancient order of very tired fairies who have decided that women have been handling all of this alone for quite long enough.

And they’re sending help. 💌

The Order of the Second Bloom is a whimsical, funny, and heartfelt collection of stories about the beautiful, bewildering adventure of midlife—and the magical companions who arrive when they’re needed most.

Because sometimes, a woman doesn’t need to be fixed.

She just needs a little magic. ✨

🌷 Available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.
