Lil sneak peek of the latest photoshoot with @thattuchicago 📸 by @westloopsoul

A record breaking year ✨
ㅤ
Last night, @breakthrought1dil_ylc, the Young Leadership Committee of @bt1dillinois, held our annual One Party to raise money to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, and thanks to everyone’s incredible support we raised of $115K and counting!
ㅤ
I’ve been a member of this incredible organization for over 5 years and @westloopsoul was proud to be a sponsor once again.
ㅤ
To experience this record-breaking evening for us was truly unbelievable.
ㅤ
My husband, @bestfoodalex, had T1D for over 20 years and in 2019, due to kidney failure caused by diabetes, he received a double organ transplant. While he’s no longer diabetic thanks to the pancreas he received, he still lives with complications of his diabetes and side effects of that transplant every single day.
ㅤ
Supporting @bt1dillinois means helping to create a world where no one else has to go through the obstacles, complications, and medical turmoil he’s had to endure.
ㅤ
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us, donated, supported, and has been a champion for helping find a cure.
ㅤ
An extra special thank you to these incredible friends, business owners, and more who donated to the silent auction and gift card pull on our behalf:
🙏 @cellardoorprovisions
🙏 @fatpeachbakery
🙏 @burritobeach
🙏 @thattuchicago
🙏 @kinnareethaikitchen
🙏 @chef.joe.sasto
🙏 @spaderma_medspa
ㅤ
We couldn’t do it without your generous support 💛

What an incredible weekend celebrating Vishu with a Sadya at wls client, @thattuchicago 🥰

Vishu, the traditional Malayalam New Year festival celebrated in Kerala, was extra-special at Thattu as they head into their 3 year anniversary in Avondale this week. And what better way to celebrate an anniversary with delicious jackfruit ghee cake made by their friend, Taz 🎂

Thank you @marzlet + @blinkofalens for welcoming @bestfoodalex + me to celebrate with you 🥹

If you haven’t made it to Thattu for dinner yet, consider this your sign! Chef @marzlet and her team are serving up a love letter to southwest Indian coastal cuisine, and it’s something you don’t want to miss 💌🍽️

Happy Valentine’s Day 💕

Send this to your social media valentine to let them know how much you like their content.

pssst - there’s a spicy one at the end for you 😉 by @westloopsoul

Mocktail cheers to 7 years sober 🥰

Here are7️⃣ things I’ve learned in those 7 years:
💛 Mornings are incredible and can be the best part of the day
💛 The only thing harder than working on yourself is working on yourself while you’re self-sabotaging
💛 It’s ok to outgrow people, places, and things
💛 People will love you even if you turn down a shot
💛 No substances can make you love yourself
💛 Delaying having to deal with something doesn’t make it go away, it just makes it harder later
💛 You deserve happiness

Cheers to many more lessons to come 🥂

The week before a holiday is always packed, but I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥰

Multiple client meetings, 4 client content shoots with @kristen.mendiola, one client event on-site at @fly2ohare, and a whole lot of playtime with @bestdoodsbrunch 👩‍💻📸🐶

Who wants to see some of the final content? 👀
