The big 1 8 in NYC doesn’t sound too bad? by @weston_cross

Today, I said goodbye to my childhood dog, Hank—or as I always called him, Hankers. He was one of the best dogs a kid could ever ask for. Growing up, he was unlike any other dog. He was the protector of our farm, and he carried that responsibility with pride up until his very last breath.

One of my favorite childhood stories was Hank the Cowdog. Not long after we got goats, we got Hank, and he became our very own “Hank the Goatdog.” To some, he looked big and intimidating, but anyone who truly knew him understood he was just a giant cuddle buddy. No matter what you were doing, if Hank saw you, he’d come over to snuggle. If you petted him once, he’d make sure you pet him again… and again… and again.

But even with all that sweetness, he was still the king of the hill. This was his land. He protected our animals fiercely and kept away anything that threatened them. He took care of us the way only a loyal dog can.

So to Hank I say: you did amazing, buddy, and our family couldn’t have asked for a better guardian. Go get your rest now. Play with your doggy friends, eat all the food you want, and enjoy the peace you deserve. I’ll see you next time.

I love you, Hankers. I’ll miss you dearly. 🤍🤍🤍 by @weston_cross

The man who’s gonna marry you, I’m Orpheus.

“A song so beautiful, it brings the world back into tune.”
Getting to step into Orpheus has been something I’ll never forget. This role has been a dream of mine, and I’m so grateful I got the chance to bring him to life. What made it even more special was watching everyone else in this cast create their own unique versions of these characters—every performance felt fresh, honest, and inspiring.

This show has meant so much to me. It’s rare to be part of something where every single person, onstage and off, pours so much into it. Without this cast, crew, and creative team, none of it would have been possible.

It’s hard to say goodbye, but I feel incredibly lucky to have had this experience. Orpheus served me well, and I’ll carry this show with me for a long time. by @weston_cross
