If you’ve been waiting for an invitation to meet Jesus…

this is it.

See you at church tomorrow, for the launch of our sermon series on the Gospel of John! by @westwoodcc

With gratitude and great hope, we’re excited to share that Pastor Brody Jespersen has been affirmed as Westwood’s next Senior Pastor. On February 8, our membership voted to step into this new chapter together, trusting God’s leading as we move forward. by @westwoodcc

Jesus didn’t come as the type of king people expected. But he DID come as a king who would lay his life down for us!

Whether we are religious or not, sometimes we care more about looking good than being honest about who we are becoming. On Sunday, Pastor @danjohnsonmn asked the question, “Do you know the scriptures, or do you know the Shepherd?” He warned that we could live our entire lives knowing what Scripture says, all the while never having a relationship with Jesus.
Jesus calls us into relationship, first to belong, and then to become like him.

Just here to tell you that the road to church is FINALLY open!! by @westwoodcc

FULLY surrendering to Jesus is like a trust fall. Arms crossed, eyes closed, no looking back! There are no “ifs” or “maybes”. True belief doesn’t come from witnessing miracles, or God “proving himself” to us. It comes from the heart and soul. So, are you ready to take the leap?

How do you react when the mess is exposed? In John 3, we’re shown not only God’s great love for the world, but how the world reacts when a light illuminates the darkness.
