Christmas time is here in Northcote, and this year we have the biggest lineup of festive creative activities that Paint With Me has ever had. Join us in Northcote for sip and pottery, fresh flower arranging, card making, French beading, and more
We’ve posted our classes for public bookings and requests for parties, and the bookings have begun! Swipe to see what’s on! For private parties we’re running all of these, not just our famous paint and sip classes, all over Melbourne.

French Beaded Flower Making: Mistletoe Ornaments with Ayesha. Beginner friendly, craft a delicate and delightful Christmas gift or keepsake. Using everything a professional does!

Make a collection of lolly baubles, flat bauble decorating, and wooden gift tags and ornaments using ribbons, glitter, paint, collaging, dried flowers, and bells.

Fresh flower wreath making a local Northcote florist in our new floristry classes! Using real florist techniques, this class will show you the art and beauty of flower arranging. You’ll learn how to prepare stems of flowers and foliage and arrange them for long lasting flower arrangements that you can keep fresher for longer than you’d think.

Vintage storybook illustration collages. Make Christmas cards using recycled books and give a gift that means more than store bought. Each guest will make a handful of cards.

Floral basket arrangements. Another new class, our flower arranging pro will show you the dos and donts of using floral foam, as well as how to create volume, texture, and value in an arranged basket of flowers right here in Northcote.

DIY snow globes! Create a flurry of sequins and pompoms around an adorable Christmas scene designed by you!

Abstract messy splatter paint and sip, and giant canvas painting for families. Our favourite class we developed this year, this time with more booking times and a paint and sip version!

Gingerbread house decorating with our team of elves. Every year we run this workshop to make a delicious gift or centerpiece for your Christmas lunch (if it lasts that long!) and we’ve gotten better and better each time. Guests will be shown little tricks to make a cottage out of simple lollies.

This is the third year that I’ve decided against growing the studio or entering the battle royal of small business. It’s me vs me. 200% improving what I can from this tiny PWM stoop. 2026 was a sandbox for resilient community solutions protecting pwm, to employ artists, give to schools, mentor yr 11/12. For “I see you, so let’s do this” education. PWM is first for nearly all arts w organic reviews, affordability, community access, class diversity & student loyalty/pwm popularity.
Our lil art shack made an impact!
Last year was horrendous, but 2026 keeps improving.
After years trying to fit into a few different fields, always devoting myself but not being able to keep myself going; when I really just super disabled & in pain, mentally agonised, or v autistic haha.
It was rough ngl. And it only got easier as I worked towards layered systems of generosity, not bust my add accounting for it.

PWM is a savior for many, like it is for me and I won’t hide it.

Ll by t this is who I get to continue to be, then I’m brimming with joy. It’s not every day (or yr) that one recognized for being the leading figure of arts education;
- or most steady-growing influencial art studio in Melbourne (in all categories except cooking and pottery)
- with most diverse skillset and teaching abilities
- and have become “the anchor” of the entire inner north’s influence, to the level of having wide enough community reach to be making changes
- from the most populated arts district of Australia.
That was a mouthful!
But thank you everyone who’s visited the studio, who’s supported my enthusiasm, or understood my frenetic ways and watched me be an unstoppable bull in the china shop of economic, social, cultural, and physical boundaries to creative freedom for all.
I’m not sure it can be more significant than this aside from like, prime minister.

Now gosh dang it, everyone. Can you just come in and paint with me already?!

❤️ thank you to @weteachme as well who have been raising eyebrows at my constant stream of wacky ideas over and over I’m sure.
