Spotted in the wild - the LOEWE x Albers spotted bag ♥️
Such stunning craftsmanship inspired by Anni Albers’s “Dotted” tapestry.

My cute little handbag that I recently knitted. Lined with some Japanese fabric I had in my stash!
This is a fun project to use up some yarns you have on hand.
Probably less than a ball of each colour.
I cast on 23 stitches on 10mm needles
I used 3 different colours of 8ply yarn held together as one.
Knitted approximately 6 rows plain knitting. Cast off middle 7 stitches.
Then next row make 7 in middle to create the handle.
Just measure against gap to determine how big you’d like the bag.
Repeat the handle row and a further 6 rows then cast off.
Sew sides together and line if you wish.
I crocheted a chain around handle in a contrast colour.
Have fun, make it a colourful spring project 💐🌼🌹🌷💕♥️💜💛❣️

Enjoying this bright winter beanie I knitted.
Sadly it will be too small so it’s looking for a baby (approx 3-6mths)
❤️💓🧡🍑💖

How wonderful to see these incredibly skilled women exhibiting their beautiful, thought provoking and inspiring textile art.
@jane_burns_artist & @talfitzpatrick
both share their creative commentary on the collective concern and protests of today.
Featuring protest banners hand stitched and appliquéd by @talfitzpatrick
Then woven imagery combining digitised art and hand processed jacquard weaving to create stunning lurex tinged protest/ arrest panels by @jane_burns_artist.
Highly recommended to see these IRL - as it’s difficult to see the intensity of the images online.
