Company paint and sip workshop at @justeatuk 🔸️
My little team and I were so thrilled to host this chilled art workshop at @justeatuk. We brought the inspo, but my goodness did the team deliver on the final results!
So proud of everyone who attended and if you are looking to run a motivating and fun paint and sip at your own office, please do get in touch with me via email or dm. 🎨

🍊 Yiayias orange tree 🍊
Earlier this year we said a hard goodbye to our oldest and dearest yiayia Eleni. She was a force right until the end, stong and stubborn! She loved so hard and was quick-witted and clever as anything. She was creative and artistic. There was nothing more she wanted than for us to visit every year to Cyprus and to ensure it was close to our hearts. She was talented, and could make plants grow up all round her. The garden, her olive and orange trees, flowers and jasmine, were so important to her.

Her sister Dasoulla joined her shortly afterwards after a long battle with alzheimers. I'd like to think they are up there together as they were in life, sitting outside and chatting.

I just felt a deep need to sit and paint her wonderful trees to honour her, and to reflect on how important they are to her, to us and our family, and on how we connect to the earth and what you can grow from this land 🇨🇾. by @whatmelmakes

We've been busy this Autumn! 🍁🍂
Back at HQ for another session with the lovely and talented @justeatuk crew. A fully booked session which we are so proud of. This time we had some still life inspiration set up in the tables as well as some images just to mix it up, but we also support participants with anything personal to them they'd love to paint.

Get in touch to book us for any upcoming tema socials!

Self portrait in oil on red acrylic.
Alla prima, across just two sittings because I dont have time to sit for long. Truth is that my face is the only one I trust myself to experiment with, because if it goes funny then at least it's just my likeness that I'm messing with 🤣.

I am enjoying practicing in a new medium and love the feel of oils, though I do have so much to learn still.

Happy Monday!
Thank you to the wonderful @refill_at_the_grange for commissioning this textured blue dream slice of the Mediterranean Sea on canvas 🛥🌊.

Heavy body acrylics with texture gel is so amazing to work with and the thickness is so satisfying. by @whatmelmakes

Me a week before Christmas 2025, as if Christmas wasnt hectic enough 🤣!
Makers dont stop, and I really wanted to make some special presents for family members. One for my husband and the other for my sister, who gave me some inspo based on a jumper she liked and I couldnt resist the brief.
This is based on a wonderful city we saw in October - Matera in Italy.

I love creating textured paintings and this is how I like to map out, nice and quick into that base layer with my paintbrush like a sketch. If you want to give yourself a really good established start for learning to paint, check out my summer painting classes! @eventbrite @classbento_uk
