GOAL Cam 2 = @insta360 x5

It is a 360 degree camera, so you choose your framing in post via the Insta360 Studio app.

I mount it ON TOP/OUTSIDE of the goal, on the top bar and use a selfie stick to get some height.

It can give some unique angles.

I'm still figuring out how to mount the camera and edit for best results.

@insta360 I'd love a few more cameras to mount :-) by @whatnowtim

Goal Cam 1 = @insta360 ACE Pro

Mounted in the top corners of the goal via a NEEWER Super Clamp with Ball Head and Magic Arm. (From Amazon)

I'm still figuring this out :-)

4K, so you can zoom/crop.

Edit using "Keyframes" to follow the action.

Questions welcome in the comments. by @whatnowtim

Might be useful to others that are/want to video field hockey.

I don't worry too much about shutter speed or ISO, I just try and get a nice exposure (by eye).

I use back button focus, continuous (not full-time). So if a player/umpire gets between me and the player I'm tracking I release the focus button and press it again once the "obstacle" has passed.

I usually sit on the left-hand side (no umpire and GOALS) of the team I'm covering. I sit at about the 12 yard line.

I shoot in 4K, so I can crop.I've tried using a monopod but I find I can't keep up with the play.

Please put any questions in the comments and I'll try and answer them.
