Solo dinner date at @chezroselondon 🍽️

Been wanting to try this one since it opened - huge fan of @spencermetzger and @_jasonatherton!

I managed to get a seat at the bar without pre-booking a table and worked my way through some snacks and small plates. Loved the elegant french-bistro vibes.

My highlight was the cafe de Paris butter with the scallop, it was so indulgent and full of flavour. Just give me a bowl of that sauce and a spoon and I'll be happy 😂

Loved everything I tried, but it's definitely a place to visit as two or more given the sharing plate set-up of the menu - the portions and plate prices mean you really need people around you to try enough of it all. Even the chocolate soufflé is made for two, I definitely wasn't greedy enough to eat that on my own! (Although I probably could have). Luckily the cookie that came with the bill was a lovely little save 🍪

At least I've got an excuse to go back and try more of the menu!

Now that's my kind of girl dinner 💅

Peaches roasted in olive oil, honey and red chilli, parma ham, creamy burrata topped with chopped pistachios and basil. Mopped up with fresh sourdough. Yaaaaaas 🙌

Wow, @dorian.nottinghill 👏👏 rated the 2nd best restaurant in the UK for a reason! Think I'm going to be dreaming about this steak for a loong time.

My mum and I sat at the counter on a busy Saturday afternoon, the perfect place to sit and watch the rest of the restaurant and a front row seat to watch the chefs cook!

We went for a selection of the snacks: caviar rosti, pork belly rosti, crab and globe artichoke rosti and sea bream crude. All mouthfuls of heaven!

For the small plates we went for the violet artichoke, stracchino and gordal olive and grilled squid and saffron rice. The artichoke my favourite - so light and fresh and lovely crunch from the crouton.

For mains we obviously went for the bone in ribeye. I'd been told we had to get it from people who've been before and wow I can't believe we ate this between me and my mum, it was huge 😅 and just incredibly tasty! We got the ratatouille and the pink fir potatoes to go with it. The tomato sauce from the ratatouille went so perfectly with the steak, actually preferred that to the gravy!

For pudding, yes we had room for pudding too 😅, we went for the banana sticky toffee pudding and cookie with hazelnut and coffee ice cream. Both so good, not too big and the perfect way to finish an amazing meal.

Highly recommend going. Make sure you go hungry and try as much of the menu as possible!

Food at @manorhouseoxenpark x catch ups with the girls 🤝

Such a lovely meal at The Manor at Oxen Park this week all washed down with a lovely lemon vodka and ginger ale cocktail 🍸

Here we have the Hake Supreme - gnocchi, samphire, green peas, brown crab and lobster veloute and an absolute classic the STP - sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Just wonderful 👌

The @bakehousebornandbread always hits!! 👏

This was the crispy salmon fillet - dill and lemon new potato salad, crispy salmon fillet, capers,
cornichons, poached egg, lemon wedge, finished with a lemon butter sauce & chive oil 👌

So tasty! The capers and cornichons really made it for me 🙌

📍Cottage in the Wood ⭐️ @thecottageinthewoodkeswick

What a gorgeous stay we just had at the cosy Cottage in the Wood in Keswick. I've been so excited to visit after watching @jackalistair on @greatbritishmenu.

Each of the eight courses was packed full of flavour, beautifully plated and explained to us by the talented chefs.

Breakfast was equally as good and so lovely to enjoy whilst watching the red squirrels looking over the whinlatter forest.

Thanks for a wonderful stay @thecottageinthewoodkeswick ☺️ by @whatssheeatingagain
