Glossies of the Wallum
A new range of glossy-inspired ceramic pieces 🖤🪶
By Lucy Vanstone
Made at Wheel of Life Studios, Brunswick Heads on Bundjalung Country.

These works are created in honour of the Vulnerable Glossy Black-Cockatoo and the delicate Wallum ecosystems they depend upon. Over several years I’ve watched a returning pair nest, fledge their young, and call overhead as I work — a quiet connection that continues to shape my practice.

Each piece holds an intention of hope:
for new fledglings,
for rising numbers,
and for the protection of their fragile habitat.

📅 Opening Night: Wednesday 17th, 6:30pm
📍 Save Wallum Photographic Exhibition
⏳ Showing until Sunday 21st

✨ 20% of all sales donated to @savewallum

These sculptures and ceramics are an offering to the glossies, to Wallum Country, and to the land that holds us all.
