I’m always getting asked what my story is, so I made a diddy to explain ✌🏻 by @whereiskatiedoane

No I’m not OK. But that’s OK.

Not going to talk to you about it. Not going to answer. I’m going to be sad that if only he could have stuck it out one more year I would have done it, but it didn’t work that way. 15 years of just us. That doesn’t go away easy. And I don’t want it to. We had been through more insane experiences than anyone I know. And I know it to be true, as we were the ones always listening.

I loved recording us. I have every moment from the day you were born til the day you left. It never got popular but it’s there, on our YouTube channel, as I swore people would want to know what it’s like, and praying people like us would come together. I had so much hope, so much belief. It was never easy, and for that I am so sorry. I only hope I gave you enough happy memories make it all worth it. I love you Bubbahas, more than anything. by @whereiskatiedoane

As soon as I got Willy, I was hopeful a butterfly would find her, and today it did 🥰

new beginnings, old friends

I’m still living in a bus, my prefab home that I thought would be the fastest option is stuck in China, and my Indy shrine burned down. But, my heart told me it would be a good idea to get a puppy that’s a relative of Mayor Max, so I took a week and got Willy (short for Wilhelmina - get the reference?) from Utah. She chewed on Indy’s dog tag that I wear every day. She loved the bus, and loves the property. I prayed it would be my Indy reincarnated, but even if it’s not, the way she looks at me, is more than enough. Now how to convince Shorty that he was just like this to Indy once….

Also, a past-life animal reader told me that this was Shorty’s & my song 🖤 by @whereiskatiedoane

I was blown away by all the comments from friends all over the country sending messages for Indy. So I made a map and placed a pin for everyone he met. Needless to say I had to buy more pins! The loss is brutal, but seeing how much he made an impact has helped my heart. Thank you beautiful souls for seeing the Indy I knew and being in our lives ♥️ happy Valentine’s Day by @whereiskatiedoane

@whereiskatiedoane ’s bus is warm and inviting and we love that entryway step design. Katie has done it all from living in a pop up truck camper to now homesteading @thegoldengirlranch . Follow along as she takes you through that process.

I lost my Indy today. I know he touched a lot of your hearts, and he loved doing it.
Doesn’t feel real, he’s been by my side since 2009. Love you more than anything Indiana Doanes. You taught me what love was, and I pray I made you feel that every day. by @whereiskatiedoane

Happy to be making such crazy fast progress!! And couldn’t do it without some amazing peeps including @1footinthegrave08 @wuzabus @lovejez and more, literally giddy my dream is coming true 🖤

when you get a bunch of gorgeous ladies on your property, you make them dress in black and dance with you 🥰

Here’s a reworded version:

I’ve been overwhelmed with incredible emotions, surrounded by so many amazing people. The thought of this exact moment is what kept me going five months ago when I first moved to this empty, dusty lot. Just keep going 🎉
