Hi! I'm Rocky and I've been cosplaying since 2006. I cosplay characters mainly from video games and anime!
POSTS STORIES REELS
I really miss cons. I'm really holding out hope for NYCC this year, though realistically...*sigh* Anyway! Some clicker shots from the front and side. The mushroom mask is made of craft foam, with the scalp made of a baseball cap and stretched baby doll skin (yes, doll skin is a thing and it's weird.) There are also various things from the fake plant section of Michaels, including but not limited to fake grapes (for very gross boils) and crushed up sunflower insides for grainy looking moss, oh and moss. All painted with acrylics. It is a weirdly comfortable costume to wear. I have plans on making an updated cosplay from some TLOU2 models. #cosplay #tlou #tloucosplay #clicker #clickercosplay #infected #sfxmakeup #thelastofus #thelastofuscosplay #imafungai #zombie #nycc #imisscons #completecosplay by @whiskeypoweredcosplay
1st day of New York Comic Con was a HOOT! It was an absolute delight to be Hooty this year. (The one I wore was built by and for my boyfriend; but, after testing, it turned out to be much too small.) I naturally reaped the benefits of his lovely handiwork! I was able to see so many cool cosplay and got to meet so many lovely people 😊 I tried to post some pictures, but due to Instagram being lame, I can't post pictures in differing aspect ratios :/ I'll be making a follow-up post so stay on the look-out! #nycc2023 #nycccosplay #nycc #cosplay #owlhouse #owlhousecosplay #hootycosplay #kingcosplay by @whiskeypoweredcosplay
"You Know, As Dangerous As Those Things Are, At Least They're Predictable. It's The Normal People That Scare Me." @fatalglory 's Joel and his daughter as Ellie were awesome!! I'm so happy that I got pictures with them! #cosplay #tlou #tlou #tlou2 #tloucosplay #shamblercosplay #zombie #nycc #nycc2023 #nycc23 #nycccosplay #nycc2023cosplay #nycc23cosplay #shambler #elliecosplay #joelcosplay by @whiskeypoweredcosplay
In my excitement about The Legend of Zelda OOT remake, I was thinking of updating my Saria/San mashup I made a few years back. That's... gonna take more time than I realized. No- the mask didn't get crushed or dropped. I had this stored safely away. The mask looks (in my opinion) quite cool with this aged look, but it is quite literally crumbling every time I touch it 😭 The base is styrofoam and I sculpted the features with Crayola Terracotta Air-Dry Clay. I recall sealing it with a matte spray varnish. I was quite proud of how it turned out at the time! I remember it was quite fun to use the clay; but, given its current state, I'm not sure I'd reccomend this brand or style of air dry clay strictly for longevity reasons. I'd love to save this mask by sealing it somehow (probably just to display it at this point.) Any reccomended methods would be appreciated! I'll have to remake the mask. Maybe I'll 3D scan it and print it? Or maybe remake it in EVA foam? I'm not sure 🤔... #cosplay #tlozcosplay by @whiskeypoweredcosplay
Happy Halloween! Keeping it chill and trying out @mehronmakeup 's 3D Gel! A little sticky and a long dry time, but good if you're trying to get that silicone texture or if you're allergic to latex. by @whiskeypoweredcosplay

The Official Dungeon Crawler Carl Meet-up at NYCC on Thursday! It's hard to take pictures when you're participating in the meetup itself >_>; So if people have more pictures or big group shots, please send those posts my way! Big shout out to everyone who we got to meet! Y'all looked awesome and were all super nice! ALSO- if you know any of the cosplayers, please tell me so I can tag them appropriately ❤️ #nycc #dungeoncrawlercarl #cosplay #mongo by @whiskeypoweredcosplay
NYCC DUMP! Thursday photos (posting the Dungeon Crawler Carl Meet-up separately.) If you recognize anyone please let me know so I may tag them. Mongo's first real wear went swimmingly and I'm really glad with how everything held up through the weekend. Nolan lost some knee spikes unfortunately and we'll need to make some adjustments to the cape to make it less chokey. Not too bad overall though! @fantasticfournyc (although it's not a great shot) #nycc #nycccosplay #dungeoncrawlercarlcosplay #mongo cosplay by @whiskeypoweredcosplay
We're alive! NYCC did not break us. Still feeling smug about how well my con crunch paid off. I should not be rewarded or feel vindicated by my actions anyway- it only encourages bad habits 😂😅 More pictures of Carl & Mongo to come! #nycc #dungeoncrawlercarlcosplay #mongocosplay #cosplay #nycccosplay by @whiskeypoweredcosplay
