Cranberry meringue pie- clearly understood why she’s made the cover of November 2026 bon appètit magazine because she’s STUNNING 🤩! That tart cranberry curd nestled in the blind-baked flaky af crust (thank you butter & cream cheese) and it’s topped with a torched meringue! Almost too pretty to eat! So cheers to #oceanspray for slogging in the bog! #cranberry #cranberrymeringuepie #bonappétit #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Candy bar pecan tart- rather self-explanatory, I’d say! A fun wheat & rye flour base topped with a caramel/pecan mid-layer topped with chocolate ganache! And well, yes it tastes as good as it looks! Super easy no bake (except for the base) recipe that is holiday ready! Thanks @kingarthurbaking for another recipe that measures up to my standards! #pecantart #pecans #tarts #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Hermits- What I love most about making these is the ability to customize them. Most stores sell these topped with a glaze or sanding sugar. I prefer the ‘less is more’ approach when it comes to extra sugar. The gingerbready flavor combined with the sweet bites of raisins and a nice chewy texture makes these irresistibly delicious! Oh skelly- I said let’s EAT some hermits not BE a hermit, get outta there! 💀🤦🏻‍♀️ #hermits #molassesgoodness #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Pumpkin bread rolls- how stinking cute are these little guys?! Recipe from @aberdeenskitchen - modified by using cinnamon sticks as the stems. Had a fun time using cooking twine….and who knew that your local Ace hardware store carries THAT?! Special little skelly from @mysticknotwork cause what’s Halloween without the obligatory skeleton 🤷🏻‍♀️💀 All treats no tricks here! #pumpkin #pumpkinrolls #pumkinseason #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Peanut butter shortbread bars- I found this recipe on Pinterest before Instagram was “a thing”! Been a staple ever since. I’m happy the author didn’t change her name too much and was pleasantly surprised to find @sugarspun_sam! Giving credit where credit is due. These are exactly like portable buckeye candy but leaves no trace on your hands…I’d say that’s a win/win #buckeyecandy #peanutbuttershortbreadbar #chocolatepeanutbuttershortbread #meltsinyourmouthnotinyourhand #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Pumpkin cinnamon rolls with maple frosting- nothing quite says ‘hello autumn’ like jumping into one of these! Can’t think of a better way to start this crisp fall morning! #mysticbaker #pumpkin #pumpkincinnamonrolls #maplefrosting #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Whole wheat pumpkin bread- what I love about this loaf is the earthiness of the whole wheat flour combined with pumpkin purée. I added toasted pecans and some homemade cranberry sauce which I had enhanced with orange zest and cinnamon! The pop of tart cranberry surrounded by moist pumpkin bread and the occasional crunch of nuts is a sensory winner in my book! This is really good just as it is or with a schmear of cream cheese! Recipe from @kingarthurbaking from what I consider one of their best cookbooks- King Arthur whole grain baking #pumpkinbread #kingarthurbaking #wholewheatpumpkinbread #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Pumpkin “black & white” cookie- a fall spin on a NY classic. Pumpkin base topped with both a chai & espresso layer of goodness! Very unique combination of flavors and delightful texture inspired by @lilypcrumbs ! As you know I’ve got a sweet spot for fall flavors and when you combine this with my love of my hometown in NY….this cookie encapsulates me! #pumpkincookies #pumpkinblackandwhite #blackandwhitecookies #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Cazuela cookie bar- a traditional Puerto Rican baked pudding only for this recipe it’s baked on top of a short bread crust for easy portability! If you like pumpkin pie, I’d say that you’d enjoy this nutmeg-forward sweet potato, pumpkin purée, and coconut milk treat! Inspiration from “The New Sugar and Spice” cookbook recipe…love finding homes for leftover ingredients (aka pumpkin purée from my scones) and turning, what would be trash, into treasures! Oh and if you were wondering - it’s pronunciation is ‘Kuhz-WAY-luh’ #cazuela #samanthaseneviratne #cazuelapudding #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Copycat Starbucks pumpkin scones- when my friend told me how devastated she was that Starbucks discontinued her favorite pumpkin scones, there was only one thing left to do! Happy to have found a copycat recipe that, while not like my typical scone recipe, matched with her fond memory! Glad to be able to “scratch that itch” for her! #pumpkinseason #pumpkinscone #starbuckspumpkinscones #scone #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Paul Hollywood’s recipe for Arlettes! Inside-out puff pastry had me intrigued! Bizzare technique in that you work to laminate the dough but then cut it and roll it into a thin circles! Leaves you with a lovely crunchy & flaky pastry! A second cousin to the French palmiers with the addition of cinnamon! I think these earned me a handshake from ol’ blue eyes IYKYK #arlettes #arlette #mysticbaker by @whisktaker_baker

Medovik- otherwise known as Russian honey cake—is a multi-layered Eastern European dessert made with thin layers of carmelized honey cake and a tangy sour cream filling! Seemed appropriate to usher in the Jewish New Year with such a sweet treat 🍎🍯 I was fascinated by the layers which make this dessert rather eye catching- especially to my little pollinators 🐝 Thanks to @smittenkitchen whose recipe (and test notes) made this sweet cake possible…👩🏻‍🍳🤎#mysticbaker #medovik #russianhoneycake by @whisktaker_baker
