We recently hosted the Export Manager, Jérôme from Cheminées Philippe here in Australia, sharing a taste of local culture and firsthand insight into what Aussie homeowners expect from a wood fireplace.

With a strong focus on our emissions standards, clearance requirements, and lifestyle preferences, his visit helps ensure these premium French cast iron fireplaces continue to deliver exceptional performance while meeting Australian needs.

Combining timeless French craftsmanship with local expertise, Cheminées Philippe brings quality, durability, and elegance into Australian homes. by @wignellsheatingandcooking

The Quercus is an outdoor fireplace with 3-sided glass and an oven.

The visible parts are made of 6 mm CorTen steel, which gives it a solid and sturdy look. The back is closed and fitted with a steel plate and heat-resistant concrete wall bricks.

A stub is welded to the top plate, and the outlet falls over it, so no rainwater can enter the stove.

The oven has a pizza stone to prepare delicious pizzas or all kinds of bread, but also other oven dishes. The top plate gets very hot, so you can also use it to heat up certain things.

The legs of the Quercus are fitted with stainless steel bolts so that you can place the fireplace free of the ground. Rust prints are therefore a thing of the past.

BullerRoo, Ambient Lounge, and a Cheminées Philippe fireplace #mansfieldvictoria #mansfieldvictoria Three things that just belong together. Making the most of these last chilly nights, fire on, feet up, and enjoying the warmth. by @wignellsheatingandcooking

It’s a pleasure to see the iconic silhouette of the Radiante 846 2V Cheminées Philippe fireplace sitting at the heart of this abundant high-performance coastal home by The Sociable Weaver.

Guided by biophilic principles, feng shui and honest materials, this space perfectly balances natural warmth with architectural excellence. There is truly nothing like the ambient crackle of a fire to ground a beautifully curated living room.
