Keep dreaming kid. Create your own table for the family to sit at and be successful.
Another year in the books. More work to be done 💯🖤 by @will_c_5

First, I owe a special thanks and gratitude to God and my family. To say I’m tired is an understatement, but it was all worth it. If you had told me 10 years ago I would be here today, I would have laughed and told you to stop planning my journey. To graduate with an architecture degree and barely work in that field of engineering is crazy, but I have grown to love civil engineering just as much. I have the opportunity to work on projects in the state of Mississippi that will forever leave a memory, such as the Grammy Museum in Cleveland and the current work in Madison County. I’m not going to tell you that it wasn’t challenging or that sacrifices were not made, but it is all about balance. For the past two years, I have been working on the $100 million clark beverage plant that will be operational in 2025 in Canton, MS, as well as the $10 billion AWS project that will come to Madison County as well. Life may have its ups and downs, but never give up on you and your reason why. It’s wild that I’m standing next to Chad Wages, the engineer who was responsible for the management of the Nissan plant civil design, where my dad was one of the first to be hired there, and he also retired there. 21 years later, we, along with MCEDA, helped bring the biggest economic project to the state of Mississippi.

I’m just a kid from inner-city Jackson with a dream. If I can do it, so can you. Always remember that family, faith, and prayer will get you to places your degree can’t. When I sat at the table, I never got up! by @will_c_5
