Paul teaches kids to build wooden boats for free, on the condition that they join the sailing club and learn to sail their handmade boat. What an amazing experience!

Sydney is losing its creative spaces. Communes of creativity where artists bring their practice to life. Gentrification, cost of living, urban expansion and poor city planning are pushing creativity out of Sydney.

A couple weeks ago I got to spend some time with the artists at @woodburncreatives before being demolished for student accommodation in a couple weeks.

Artist spaces in Sydney are disappearing. Communes of creativity are being knocked down for development and high rise apartment blocks. I spent a few days this week talking about craft, creativity and change with the artists at @woodburncreatives before it’s knocked down in a few weeks.

Mahon Pool - We migrate like pilgrims to the ocean to wash away our sleep, our stress and start the day anew. Lately I’ve been photographing and filming the local ocean pools near where I live, documenting this morning ritual.

Beach football, Maroubra Beach. Jan 2026

The boys weren’t playing fair. Slide tackles, pushing and the occasional hip & shoulder. More like a game of British bulldogs but with a football.

It was -6 when we got in the cars. As we ascended past Mount Horrible we were greeted with a heavy fog on the road down to Sofala. As we arrived at @chesleighsofala the sun popped and lit the valley in a soft warm haze.

Mid last year I was asked to photograph 2 jobs over 14 days for @destination_nsw in regional NSW. Early starts, freezing temps, beautiful light, lots of kms and the greatest crew!

On the final day of the first block we let the talent settle into some wine and marshmallows around a giant fire at @winmarkwines

Last year I started photographing a personal series exploring the enduring hope of a sunburnt country. This year I’m humbled to say that the series has been included in @luerzersarchive Top 200 Ad Photographers Worldwide 25/26 Edition.

‘Best’ is a funny title as there’s so many great photographers, who do incredible work…but it’s nice to get an acknowledgment that I’m pushing in the right direction.

Rest in Peace Martin Parr. Inspired everyone 🙌🏻
