🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL🎉

We have a ton of exciting news about new music coming out at the end of this month (PHYSICALS ONLY) and of our tour coinciding along with that release. You'll have to be there if you wanna get your hands on the new music(way before it's streaming ;) )

But I wanted to take a second to wish our ROCKSTAR Will a happy birthday!!

Thank you for being you dude, your attitude on life is infectious, you know how to make a room start laughing and this project wouldn't exist in more ways than one without you.

some of the best moments of my life so far, had the pleasure of shooting and helping out the homies for 6 days. so proud of them for what they’re doing.

JURUPA OAK releases August 8th 2025

Our debut album Jurupa Oak, named after the oldest living organism in California, marks Smother’s first 100% independently released record, out worldwide via underground label Pleasure Tapes. We wanted to capture how our home and world changes over time. From watching our parents get older, to watching the field behind our back yard turn to concrete. Tying this grasp of wanting life to stay the same as we were kids, the Jurupa Oak in particular knows of this danger more than any of us. With the risk of being destroyed by warehouse development in Riverside, an issue that literally hits close to home. Recorded to tape and mixed by Will Jones @drown.in.sound at @paradiserecorders and mastered by @kernhaug.audio .

Winter tour 2024

Thank you to everyone who was so nice and wonderful. It was a fever dream to play with @trainstojuniper @mau_band and @drought_band three nights back to back. Thank you to @502pinewooddrive and @bimbotoolshed for housing us <3 thank you @tocsinmag and @buckyfanzine for booking us <3

Purple Robots ‘23 on draft at both locations. On now in Pomona and making its way from Pomona to Chinatown to be freshly tapped in the next hour!
