Happy World PR Day! 🌍 Today, we celebrate the Golden Age of Strategic PR. At Winnie Gor Communications Africa, we know that strategic PR is work. Whether it’s a continental summit or a corporate boardroom, the principle is the same: get it right, because trust does not get a second chance. In an era where PR is about more than visibility, we take pride in authentic storytelling, credibility, and impact that lasts. Hats off to PR and communications professionals globally for shaping conversations that matter, protecting reputations, building meaningful connections, and driving lasting change. #WorldPRDay #WorldPRDay2026 #PRInAfrica #StrategicPR #WGCA by @winnie_gor

Good PR cannot fix poor governance. Speaking at #EAPRW2026, @winnie_gor, Founder and CEO of @winniegorcommsafrica, reminded communication professionals that no amount of messaging can replace accountability, integrity and effective service delivery. #ReimaginingPR by @winnie_gor
Building public trust takes more than good communication. It takes consistency, strong relationships and a place for communication in institutional decision-making. Yesterday, our CEO, @winnie_gor moderated a panel at the 5th EAPRW and 21st PRSK Annual Summit in Malindi, exploring the human side of building and sustaining public trust. Together with fellow panellists, the discussion examined the role of internal communication, diplomacy, coordination and meaningful citizen engagement in strengthening institutions. One key takeaway: communication should help shape decisions, not simply explain them after they have been made. #EAPRW2026 #PRSK #PublicTrust #StrategicCommunication #WGCA by @winnie_gor
Leadership is not only about what you stand for, but also how you communicate it. On Tuesday, our CEO, @winnie_gor, facilitated a session on Political Communication and Media Engagement for Cohort 3 of DIRA Democracy School, a leadership programme for young political aspirants by the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy. The session explored practical ways for emerging political leaders to build their personal brands, craft clear messages, engage the media and communicate effectively with the people they seek to represent. Through practical insights, engaging group discussions, live simulations and dialogue, the session equipped participants with communication skills essential to responsible leadership and democratic governance. #dirademocracyschool #NIMD #politicalcommunication #YouthLeadership #leadershipdevelopment by @winnie_gor

They say you’re only as good as your team, and Team WGCA truly proved that at the Trust Summit 2026! The thought, intention, attention to detail and sheer excellence that went into curating this summit were nothing short of exceptional. From the big picture to the smallest details, my team showed what happens when passionate, talented people come together with a shared vision. Team WGCA, you absolutely outdid yourselves! I am so Proud of what this team has achieved and grateful to witness what we continuously create together. #Unstoppables 💪 by @winnie_gor
