Pull up a chair. ☕️

Hi, I’m Sierra.

For a long time, I’ve been curious about what makes a place stay with us.

Why some rooms feel different the moment we walk into them.
Why certain conversations linger long after they’re over.
Why sometimes, surrounded by people we’ve only just met, we can somehow feel completely at home.

I’ve come to believe that hospitality is about so much more than hosting an event.

It’s about making people feel expected.
Making room for conversation.
Noticing the little things.
Creating places where people can gather, celebrate, create, grow—and simply be.

I’m building something around that belief. And somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted a place to share the thoughts, stories, questions and lessons behind it too.

So this is that place.

A little corner for conversations about belonging, hospitality, community, beautiful things, building something meaningful—and whatever I happen to notice along the way.

I don’t have all the answers.

But I’m paying attention.

And I have a feeling there are some really good conversations ahead.

The door is opening. ☕️

Something has been growing here.

It started with an event space.

A place for birthdays and baby showers. Workshops and meetings. Milestones, ideas, laughter, champagne, tears and really good conversations.

But somewhere between opening the doors and watching thousands of people walk through them, I started noticing something.

The moments that stayed with me weren’t necessarily the biggest ones.

They were the human ones.

Someone staying a little longer because the conversation was too good to leave.

Strangers becoming friends.

A room full of people laughing together.

Watching someone look around a space and realize, for the next few hours, it felt like theirs.

And slowly I began to understand:

Maybe we weren’t just creating a place for people to gather.

Maybe we were creating a place for people to feel at home.

That idea has changed the way I think about almost everything.

Hospitality.
Community.
Business.
Leadership.
Even what it means to be a good host.

And it’s becoming the foundation of something much bigger that I’m building—House of Toast.

I don’t know exactly what every room of this House will look like yet.

But I know how I want people to feel when they walk through the door.

Welcome home.
