There’s something powerful about becoming an adult without abandoning the child who first taught you how to dream…

That kid who created without permission…Who imagined without limits…Who made things simply because something inside said CREATE!

I’ve learned that growing up was never supposed to mean growing away from that part of myself.

So I keep him close. I give him room to play..explore..make mistakes….dream bigger and turn what lives inside into something the world can see and feel.

Creativity is more than something I do. It’s a calling…. a calling isn’t meant to stay buried inside of you.

Protect your inner child. Feed your imagination. Keep your curiosity alive!

Then take everything they give you…
and pour it back into the world.

…one of the purest forms of purpose. by @cfl

This isn’t a story about who @wjmoore34 became after football.

It’s the story of everything he has always been.

@wjmoore34 is an artist, husband, father, son, friend, leader and one of the most magnetic people you’ll ever meet.

On the field, Wayne was violent. He was a disruptive force who made his presence felt every time he stepped between the lines.

Off the field, that same intensity lives through his art.

Through his “If You Want It” series, Wayne leaves original artwork throughout the city for people to discover and take home. His work is rooted in creativity, connection and service to others.

His All League brings every part of his experience together. The athlete. The artist. The leader. The person.

The uniform is part of his story.

It was never the whole story.

If you know Wayne, tell us something about him the uniform could never show.

This is Wayne Moore.

This is his All League. by @cfl

Meet Coach Wayne. Wayne (@wjmoore34) was drafted in the second round, 11th overall (1st RB) to the Montreal Alouettes (CFL) in 2016. During his tenure, he played for Montreal Alouettes, Ottawa Redblacks, and primarily with the BC Lions.
‌
After retirement, Coach Wayne transitioned into being Strength and Conditioning Coach (Level 3 AASc) where he's able to leverage his talents, experience to help the next generation of athletes turn Pro.
‌
As a ‘left brain, right brain enthusiast,’ Moore’s coaching philosophy is a fusion of technical knowledge and creative problem-solving, rooted in the core values of effort, consistency, and resilience. He emphasizes a comprehensive approach that focuses not only on physical preparation but also on cultivating the mental discipline and creative balance necessary for optimal human performance.
‌
His mission is to guide athletes through their day-to-day process, empowering them to train with intent, build confidence in their movement, and develop sustainable habits that gives them the best chances of becoming Pro.

From the field to the canvas.

Football taught me discipline, resilience, and how to keep pushing forward even when the path isn’t clear. Art became the next arena where I could channel that same energy, but this time through creativity and expression.

This piece by the CFL reflects on my journey….how confidence, adversity, and staying true to who you are can open doors you never imagined. The game shaped me, but it didn’t define my limits.

Grateful for every chapter that brought me here.

If you want to read the story and see the full journey, check the link in my bio. 🏈🎨

Huge shout out to the @cfl and their team. Great Crew!

Recently I watched a video that put me in deep reflection. Often times life moves so fast that we rarely acknowledge the details of the past that have a huge impact on our moves of today.

I felt inclined to step out my comfort zone really go another layer deeper in sharing some of the finer details in my journey and how that is revealed through some of my storytelling in my art I create today. by @cfl

I learned early that survival teaches lessons success can’t explain. Long before recognition, it taught me patience, focus, and how to move with purpose even when no one was watching…

It’s Always BRICK x BRICK! Come lay a brick with me..

After what feels like the 100th rewatch of @pharrell Piece by Piece, not sure if this art piece was inspired by the documentary … or the @lego I keep stepping on around the house 😅

Either way, my kids and I spend so much time building Legos together, so I decided it’s only felt right to create something that feels like them.

Brick by brick, piece by piece, they’re my favourite masterpiece. by @cfl
