Child actor resumes were basically works of fiction.

Karate? Sure. Water skiing? Why not. Horseback riding? Apparently.

We discuss the very specific chaos of having random “skills” listed on your resume as a kid and then realizing one day you might actually have to do them.

Miko Hughes’ Hollywood story started with a mom who would not take no for an answer.

For nine months, she kept showing up at the Mary Grady Agency after being told they weren’t taking new clients.

Eventually, someone gave Miko a shot.

He booked the first three things he went out for, including the iconic horror movie Pet Sematary.

Listen to the whole story and much more in our next episode available July 23 wherever you podcast.

At 4 years old, @woeismiko delivered one of the most quoted lines in Kindergarten Cop.

Funny? Absolutely.

Easy to grow up with? Not exactly.

Miko opens up about the line that followed him for years and how he looks at it now.

🎙️ NEXT EPISODE DROPPING Thursday July 23rd — and this one goes all the way back to our guest starting out as a toddler…literally!

Say hello to @woeismiko who terrified audiences as Gage Creed, the pint-sized psychopath at the heart of Pet Sematary — arguably the most unsettling performance ever given by a kid who couldn’t tie his own shoes yet.

Miko went on to play Joseph in Kindergarten Cop, where he delivered THE most iconic ad-libbed line in the movie (if you know, you know — and yes, we asked him about it). He was Aaron on Full House for five seasons, showed up opposite Danny DeVito in Jack the Bear, went back to horror in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, orbited Tom Hanks in Apollo 13, guest starred on shows like Baywatch & Touched by An Angel, held his own against Bruce Willis in Mercury Rising, and even MORE!!

We talked about being a working actor before he could read, what it’s like when your most famous line as a five-year-old still gets quoted at you as an adult, growing up on horror sets vs. sitcom sets, life after the spotlight, and what he’s up to now.

What is a more iconic child acting role— Gage in Pet Sematary or Joseph in Kindergarten Cop? Let us know in the comments 👇👇👇

Most people know Miko Hughes as Gage Creed. Few got the chance to grow up with him.

In our latest interview, Miko reflects on life after child stardom, the lasting legacy of Pet Sematary, and the strange experience of watching generations of horror fans discover his work decades after it first appeared on screen.

We also talk conventions, cult classics, growing up in the public eye, and what comes next for one of horror’s most recognizable faces.
