Dear Me, Happy birthday. ❤️

Thank you Jesus for another year! by @woleolu_

Happy birthday to my husband, @woleolu_ my gift from God! ❤️

I feel incredibly blessed to be the one who gets to experience, up close, this multifaceted, talented, kind, loving, creative and peaceful human being. A man who never stops trying to become a better version of himself. And above all, a true child of God.

You do this husbanding thing excellently, loving your wife as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her. I see you, I appreciate you, and I do not take the privilege of doing life with you for granted.

Best amongst them all! Best cinematographer in Calgary, @elanstudios_ ’s finest, baddest editor and colourist, amazing dad, and now, children’s book author! @elanfilmkids 😂 All of you, please patronise this man. Let us support greatness! 🤣

My prayer for you is that the Lord will preserve you, order your steps and keep you from stumbling. May you never experience a better yesterday. May your latter days continually surpass the former. May your gifts make room for you, may your labour yield beautiful fruits, and may you never lack the grace, strength and wisdom to fulfil everything God has written concerning you.

May you grow in the knowledge of God, flourish in His purpose and enjoy the beautiful rewards of a life lived in obedience to Him. May your life continually give you reasons to testify of God’s goodness.

I love you, I celebrate you, and I am grateful that I get to witness and share in the many beautiful dimensions of your life.

Happy birthday, my love. Here’s to many more beautiful years of becoming, flourishing and fulfilling purpose together. ❤️

Dear Me, Happy Birthday! ❤️🎂

If there’s one thing life has taught me, it’s that God doesn’t always take us through the easiest path, but He never wastes a journey.

Sometimes, I look back at the boy I used to be, the dreams I carried, the prayers I whispered, and the things I hoped would have happened by now. And I can’t help but smile. Not because everything has gone according to plan, but because through it all, GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL.

I’ve had seasons of confidence and seasons when I questioned everything. Moments of incredible joy and moments when I had to encourage myself because nobody really knew what I was carrying.

I’ve had to start over, learn, unlearn, sacrifice, and make decisions that didn’t always make sense to others. I’ve watched some dreams take longer than expected, and I’ve seen God open doors I never imagined possible.

From Nigeria to Canada, from dreaming about telling stories to seeing those stories touch lives, from being a young man with ambitions to becoming a husband, a father, and a man entrusted with responsibilities much bigger than himself… what a journey it has been!

Somewhere between chasing dreams, building a family, serving God, and trying to become a better man, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about what you achieve. Sometimes, it’s about who you become along the way.

There are battles I’ve fought quietly. Sacrifices I may never speak about. Tears that never made it to social media. And prayers still waiting for answers.

But today, I choose GRATITUDE.

I’m grateful for my wife, my children, my family, those who believed in me, and even the disappointments that pushed me closer to God’s purpose.

Some love stories are beautiful not just because of how they begin, but because of the grace, friendship and commitment that keep them growing. ❤️
