This is the 2026 Women's Decathlon World Championships — all 10 events, in one poster.

We asked artist @harkirankalsi to capture what this championship means, and she gave us this: 10 events, ten moments of power, joy, and grit — every one of them belonging on the biggest stage in sport.

Harki's illustrations have been with us all season. This is the finale.

No better time to set a PB than at world championships! by @womensdecathlon

Nine events down. One left. And after two days on your feet, the 1500m doesn't care how much you have left, it just asks you to find it anyway.

By the time this race starts, everyone on that line has already given the decathlon almost everything they have. What's left is what actually decides things: who is still standing on the podium, and for the first-timers in this field, whether they get to call themselves a decathlete at all. Because that's the truth of this event. It's not your first throw or your fastest sprint that makes you a decathlete. It's crossing this finish line.

At the 2026 Women's Decathlon World Championships presented by Amy Park and Paul Sieben, Corinn Brewer ran 4:50.76, a new world best, closing out the meet in style. But the real story of this race is what happened behind her: exhausted athletes dragging each other across the line, competitors from different countries throwing an arm around someone who started as a stranger they'd been racing all weekend but became a friend. Relief and joy and disbelief all showing up on the same face at once. Ten events is a long way to go alone. Nobody finished this one alone.

The 1500m, the race that puts a training plan to its final test, was presented by Toga. Toga builds personalized run training plans around your actual schedule, your goals, and what's happening in your life, a training system that adapts to you, not the other way around. Whether you're chasing a 5K or a marathon PR, Toga builds around you.

We were proud to have Toga alongside us for the 2026 Women's Decathlon World Championships presented by Amy Park and Paul Sieben.

Sur le long chemin vers l'ajout du DÉCATHLON aux JO 2032.
...enfin l'ajout pour les femmes.

⚠️Car même si la discipline existe depuis 1912 aux JO elle est interdite aux femmes.

Javelin isn't just about how hard you can throw. It's a full sprint into a release with the force all going perfectly through the tip , repeated on command, nine events into a two-day competition, with your whole body already running on empty.

At the 2026 Women's Decathlon World Championships presented by Amy Park and Paul Sieben, Esther Condé-Turpin's arm remembered how to do exactly that. Her 43.64m was the best throw of the entire field, and it did more than win the event: it closed a gap that had opened up, cutting what was a 166-point deficit on 5th place down to just 15.

Nikki Boon continued on after pole vault ended with a broken jaw and multiple broken teeth. She didn't have her best javelin, but she didn't need to. A modest throw was enough to hold her position and stay squarely in the hunt, with one event left to decide who's standing on the podium.

2026 Women's Decathlon World Championships. Who said I would fail?

WDWC 2026

People who are close to me know I hardly ever say "I am proud of myself" but I am incredibly proud this bronze medal.
This whole weekend was filled with ups and downs from the start. There were some big PB's and some disappointments but that's the decathlon. Pole vault was the epitome of this. After jumping a 50cm PB, I fouled at my first attempt on the next height. The bar ended up falling on my face, breaking multiple teeth and part of my jaw. With only 2 more events to go, I decided my legs still worked and that I did not want a year worth of hard work to go to waste. Definitely still shaken by the accident, javelin was messy but I was relieved to get a mark in. I went into the 1500 with no plan other than "run" as I thought I was stuck in 5th place and had no chance of medaling anymore. Turns out, it's never over until it's over. I ran a myself to a bronze medal and a massive PB in both the 1500 and total score.
While I know I can always do more and always be better, I am proud of myself for never giving up and continuing to fight throughout this competition.

I will certainly be back next year for WDWC 2027 (probably with a mouth guard)

A massive thank you to my support system, without whom I would have never been able to do this. Thank you to the medical staff who did everything they could to make sure I was okay and received the proper care.
Thank you to @lo_kuntz for another great event! No one sees all the work behind the scenes. by @womensdecathlon
