“the scent of sorrow” ~ this time in written form straight from my notebook from when I wrote it in 2024… messy handwriting, pre-edits and all.

an original poem about the pleasure and grief that comes with being in a human body.
hope you enjoy 🐦‍⬛

five years ago I had a dream where I was selling poetry prints and film photograph postcards. I woke up feeling inspired to make what I saw in the dream real.

I’ve been selling these film photo postcards for years now, but seeing my poetry - these tender words that reflect my inner world - be printed onto something tangible to give to other hands is a whole other dream come true.

thank you to everyone who has already brought so many of these pieces into their homes. what a beautiful gift that is 🥲

in case you missed it and want to adorn your beautiful homes with a print ~ I am soft launching my website 🤭
go check it out (you know where to find it) and snag a print if something inspires you, or just have a wander through.

feeling tingly with what’s to come.
thank you all for being here 💗

“as the scent of lemon lingers”
this time in written form
an original poem about aging and the passing of time ~

I wrote this one on August 3rd - still swimming in summer - though there is autumn written all over it.

real talk: I cried when I wrote this poem.

I’ve been feeling the passing of time a bit more acutely these days. not sure what the remedy is, but for now I’ll just keep writing poems about it.
hope you enjoy, this is a tender one 🥲

I first wrote these words in November of 2018 following a particularly potent heartbreak that led to some of my favorite poems and creations.
I find myself revisiting these words often, repeating them in my internal dialogue like a mantra.
