POSTS STORIES REELS

I got laid off. And I felt relieved.

Most people would panic. I didn't. And I think that says something.

For years I worked in the corporate world. Every day looked the same. Wake up. Meetings. Spreadsheets. Performance reviews. Go home. Repeat.

The hardest part wasn't the work. It was fighting for every little bit of freedom. Everything had to be faster. More efficient. Sometimes at the expense of quality. And that never sat right with me.

Because I've never liked fake things. Fake smiles. Fake conversations. Fake corporate culture.
Maybe that's why I fell in love with photography. Because real moments can't be faked.

A few weeks ago, the decision got made for me. I got laid off.
And instead of panic, I felt something else. Relief. Because suddenly I had no more excuses.

The scary part was never losing the job. The scary part would have been staying five more years, wondering what if I had actually tried.

I genuinely believe everything has something beautiful about it, as long as you're willing to look at it from the right angle.

This is Day One. I'm building this from scratch. Follow along.

Revisiting my session with Deniz and Hugo at Parc Ciutadella to celebrate their wedding.

Our original location which unfortunately fell through last minute, so we had to improvise.
Best thing that could have happened, because these photos turned out A-MA-ZING.
I love them. What about you?

Proposals, engagements, elopements, pareja de hecho and every kind of "we did it" moment. I have a few November sessions left. DM me to book yours! ✉️ by @wou.pics

Nobody warns you that "flexible schedule" means flexible in both directions 🙈.
One week of sun, one week of meetings, shoots and way too much coffee.
Wouldn't trade it though!

First view of my shoot with Anna. She was the first to request a shoot when I started this journey a couple of months ago, and we finally were able to make it happen!

Which one do you like most? Let us know in the comments!

A photoshoot at 6am, who would dare to come up with that idea? 🙈

Well, we did! And it went great! Thanks to the early hour we had the station almost to ourselves, so we got a lot of amazing pictures out of it!
