Genesis is heading to college in just a few weeks! It's hard to believe that my first baby is moving to Florida to pursue a Computer Science degree and play in an HBCU marching band.

Genesis put together an Amazon wish list of things needed for dorm life, which would be super helpful. I also have a donation link if anyone wants to contribute to the many expenses of moving to college, books, etc.

Both links are in the comments! Thank you in advance ❤️ by @writertaigooden

Thank you GoodKind PR, Amazon MGM, and Orion Pictures for allowing me to attend an early screening of Is God Is! This film follows Black twin sisters (played by Kara Young and Mallori Johnson) who are on a pathway of revenge and blood at the behest of their mother years after a life-altering event. The supporting cast includes Sterling K. Brown, Vivica A. Fox, and Janelle Monae.

When this film hits theaters on May 15, I need for ALL of you to show up! It is a brilliant exploration of inherited rage, familial strife, vengeance, redemption, and the powerful connection of sisterhood, for better and worse.

Black women are allowed to be righteously angry and express the fullness of themselves in this film. The performances are top-tier and the ending is a fiery and bloody trip that will leave you shaken and stick with you for a while.

It’s a fusion of Afrofuturistic aesthetics, Spaghetti Western thematic underpinnings, psychological thriller terror, and Black Southern Gothic soul. Aleshea Harris is making her film directing debut and I am so incredibly excited to see where her journey takes her.

Is God Is provokes deep thoughts and brings laughter, tension, and bold visuals to the big screen. See it on May 15 at a theater near you! #IsGodIs by @writertaigooden

Goodbye February! I turned 39, had a Stranger Things adventure, ate caviar McNuggets, hosted a Galentine’s party, and felt a lotta love. Let’s see what will happen in March 💚 #februarydump #hellomarch🌸 by @writertaigooden

Freedom is on the other side of fear 🧗🏾‍♀️

I didn’t think I’d make it to the top but I didn’t want to leave Thailand with any regrets! I’m basically an action star, please talk nice to me 😎

Let’s talk about LAND DAY!

Getting a chance to see the grasslands where @jurassicworld Rebirth was a complete thrill by itself. But filming a teaser with a full on production team and running through grass taller than my head in Thailand? Now THAT was an experience 😅

I will absolutely leave the real acting to Scarlett, Mahershala, Jonathan, and them. I’m a writer and I’m okay with that 😂

Shout out to Terry, that ominous spider I saw hanging from a tree. You’re the size of my palm and I respect your personal space bro 😅

When you’re just tryna do pretty girl activities but things don’t go quite as planned! 💕💅🏾👀

For our first full day on land, @uniallaccess and @mandykaymarketing took us to @madoobua.phuket, a beautiful restaurant with quite the view! Those vibrant lily pads and drones ready to give you an IG star worthy moment were too tempting to resist, even for someone like me who shies from the spotlight 😎

What a cool surprise at the end! Glad I lived to tell the tale 😅 It was only the beginning of the @jurassicworld adventures 💚

I was sweating buckets out there but it was a BLAST in the grasslands!

The scene from @jurassicworld Rebirth of Zora and Henry seeing the Titanosaurus herd is full of wonder and heart 🥰❤️ And we got quite the surprise from @uniallaccess while we were out there…You’ll see that soon 👀

Jurassic World Rebirth is on digital RIGHT NOW to buy or rent!

Tai in Thailand 🇹🇭

Last week, I embarked on the journey of a lifetime to Thailand on behalf of @nerdist to witness the wonders of @JurassicWorld Rebirth, thanks to @UniAllAccess and @mandykaymarketing’s absolutely phenomenal experience to celebrate Jurassic World Rebirth’s digital release on August 5!

A group of journalists, media professionals, and influencers came together to traverse the country’s lush and unbelievably gorgeous landscape on several adventures that honored Jurassic World Rebirth’s various filming locations. From rock climbing and running through Krabi’s grasslands to setting sail at sea, no stone was left untouched as we went on the adventure of a lifetime! I am incredibly honored and grateful that I was able to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After experiencing filming locations in real life and watching Jurassic World Rebirth multiple times, there’s no doubt that owning or renting this film to watch in the comfort of your own home is worth it!

You’ll get over one hour of action-packed bonus content, including an alternate opening scene, deleted scenes, a making-of documentary, and so much more! Jurassic World Rebirth is an emotionally driven epic that’s sonically and aesthetically rich, so grab your digital copy soon!
