For the first time in 15 years I wasn’t greeted with a smile and wagging tail when I got home. The first time I walked downstairs and didn’t get to say good morning. The first time going to bed and not getting to say goodnight, I love you. Unfortunately, Sunday we had to do one of the hardest things we’ve done. We said goodbye to my best friend of 15 years. 15 years of good mornings, good nights and I love you’s. With cuddles, play fights, and walks. I rescued Swish when I was 19 years old. I’ve said it before, but this will be the last time, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Swish lived a long amazing life. She taught me how to care for and love something unconditionally. She taught me patience and discipline. We’re grateful for all the time we had with her and to have been blessed with such an amazing dog. She touched the hearts of many. Today there’s a little hole in my heart knowing I’ll never get to see her again. Don’t take your pets for granted. You are their everything and you only get them for a short time. I hope you hug your fur baby a little tighter tonight and tell them how much you love them. by @wrong.tone

You’ve officially hit your mid 20’s. This is the part in life where you really start to find out who you are. It’s exciting and nerve wracking, but you’re handling it like a pro so far. Watching you grow as a person every day has been a privilege. You’re young, caring, beautiful and successful. I couldn’t ask for a better landlord. Happy birthday my love. Life’s just getting started. Cheers to 25 and endless growth. by @wrong.tone
Incoming long post. Yesterday was a pretty big day for me. While everyone was heading to bet on the ponies and enjoying their derby festivities I was completing my last day of school for my apprenticeship. It’s been 5 years of hard work. Shifts ranging anywhere from 8-14 hours and heading straight to school after for another 5 hours twice a week. I’ve had drives that ranged from 30 min to 4 hours. I’ve worked in rooms that were 120+ degrees while welding and I’ve been on rooftops while it was 10 degrees or below. I’ve worked in the rain, sun, and snow. I’ve put literal blood, sweet and (no tears cause pipefitters don’t cry) into this apprenticeship. Come June 20th I’ll officially be sworn in as a Local 502 Union Pipefitter. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me in the slightest way. Especially you @laurenantoine . I’m so proud of myself for completing this long and difficult 5 years of work and education. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve been so happy with the way my life’s been going. It’s amazing and I’m excited for the future. ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼 by @wrong.tone
